I ordered my Maverick June 25th from Capital Ford. Lariat Hybrid Lux package. Still not production date yet.

Looks like mine isn't either.

Regarding the NC International Auto Show at RCC next weekend...

I emailed the contact for the show and didn't receive anything back for a few days. So then I posted a message to the event FB page asking if there would be a Maverick. They responded by basically saying there might be and then deleted my post, lol. Today, I received a reply back from the email saying "Yes it is scheduled to be here."

Personally, I'd love a little more confirmation before I make the drive. That's about a 2.5 hour drive and an all day event for me. Or I could wait a month and drive one at a dealer nearby, lol.

I wonder if I called Ford if they would be able to tell me events where they know Ford Marketing is going to have a Maverick? Probably have to wait until tomorrow...holiday and all.

**EDIT** Or, if anyone local to the show is planning to go maybe on Friday and could update us as to what you find???

I'm in Raleigh, so I'll be there for sure! I'll probably have to go Saturday or Sunday because of work, but I'll definitely take some photos if it's there. I'm bummed it's not at the fairgrounds this year; test drives are so much better out there vs. fighting the confusion/congestion of downtown. I'll update as needed!

For those that have been to these in the past, I am assuming only a handful of already retail-available vehicles are available for test drive? I have no aspirations that we will be test driving a Maverick even if it is there. But I would love to check it out and sit in it.

Typically, it's mostly FCA and Ford doing test drives. A few others like GM, Honda, Toyota, ect. have been there in the past, but this year is JUST Ford according the website. I'm sure space is limited downtown.

Yes! Please! We're 2 hours away, but we're involved in a major bicycle fundraising event this weekend in New Bern. If there's a Maverick in Raleigh, we might be able to skip out at noon on Sunday and drive over to Raleigh to take a look at that thing.

You can include me. Who did you guys order through. I ordered through Crossroads. I originally reserved through Capital Ford in Raleigh but the internet sales manager failed to tell me I'd need to make a $500 non-refundable deposit before scheduling an in person apt with me. So, I showed up and they decided to tell me that right away after I was in the door. I was not pleased and drove down the road to Crossroads, placed my order without a deposit. I'm considering calling to remove my xlt lux package and maybe change to the 2.0 ecoboost...but considering that has me also thinking about just going out and buying a Honda Insight.

I ordered 8/2 and got a confirmation email from Ford.
