  1. Ford Maverick vs Subaru Outback size and legroom compared

    I had a 2.4 turbo Outback
  2. rough idle cold engine

I'm experiencing the same thing in my hybrid. It's super subtle and almost makes you think you're imagining it, but it definitely rocks when the engine is idling and cold. It's like when you're stopped on a bridge and can feel it moving while traffic is passing by.
  3. Hybrid Brakes Still an Issue After TSB

To preface to situation, I've had issues with the brakes on my hybrid since day one (curently sitting at 18,400 miles). I had the brake TSB update performed a month or so ago, and while it has almost completely eliminated the abrupt "clunk" that was present, there's still an incredible amount of...
  4. TSB 22-2493 issued for 2.5L Hybrid Maverick grabby brakes (at or below 6.2 MPH)

Everything was taken care of! After resetting a few modules, the TSB software was able to be installed! It's not a 100% fix, but it's MUCH better than it was before.
  5. TSB 22-2493 issued for 2.5L Hybrid Maverick grabby brakes (at or below 6.2 MPH)

Latest report is that the dealership has reached out to Ford engineers to see how to address the TSB update not working. In the meantime, I'm in a BRAND new Explorer loaner, so I'm not complaining!
  6. TSB 22-2493 issued for 2.5L Hybrid Maverick grabby brakes (at or below 6.2 MPH)

I had my TSB done today, and my tech called to say that it's still exhibiting the same issue even after updating all other modules, so it's going back first thing tomorrow morning to be looked at again. I'll keep you all updated!
  7. SSM posted for Hybrid Maverick brake problem: Brakes Grab During Light Braking When Applied At OrBelow 6.2 Mph (10 Km/h) -- 10/21/22

My service advisor informed me that he saw an ABS module update on another customer's Maverick, but it hasn't shown up in my OASIS as of a couple days ago.
  8. Moonroof making howling noise

Mine does this if I have both the sunroof vented and the rear sliding window opened. The sunroof has developed a nasty rattle when opened as well, but as long as it works, I'm happy.
  9. Totaled! The most beautiful Maverick is off the road RIP vezpa's Maverick

I'm always a firm believer in the fact that, if you came out of an accident mostly unscathed, that airbags were not needed in the first place. There are plenty of Maverick's on Copart where the front/side airbags deployed as intended.
  10. What’s new: changes for 2023 Maverick

CoPilot 360 is different than the CoPilot360 Assist package. Regular CoPilot 360 is just blind spot monitoring and lane keep.
  11. Problem: Engine Tries To Engage While Stopped

The start/stop system does not necessarily keep the engine off the entire time that the brake pedal is depressed. If it needs to run the A/C compressor or if there are any other loads on the electrical system, it will restart the engine before you lift your foot to move. My hybrid will even...
  12. Highest odometer mileage so far?

7,458 on my Lariat Hybrid since April 7th. No issues at all other than the headlight switch acting funny one morning and a couple Sync3 reboots. It's been fantastic! If Ford would update the brake software it would be pretty much a perfect vehicle.
  13. Maverick Hybrid brake system grabbing and/or rough engagement at low speeds

Idk if anyone else has commented on this or not, but mine does not do this with the A/C off. It's almost completely smooth without the A/C running and goes back to being jerky at low speeds when it's on.
  14. Odd Brakes in Hybrid Maverick

Mine does this as well. I actually had an experience the other day that makes me think it is definitely not supposed to behave this way. I had my adaptive cruise set in stop and go traffic the other day, and traffic started to creep forward, but when my truck went to stop itself, I got a red...
  15. Raleigh/Triangle NC Dealership Maverick Tracker

Mine shipped on 02/18 and I was able to pick it up on 04/07. Mexico to NC seems to take forever when it comes to delivering these trucks.
  16. Perimeter Alarm on Lariat/XLT, No Interior/Inclination Sensors?

I'm glad you posted this because I was looking through my settings to try to find the alarm settings without any success. I swear I remember seeing a review of an XLT somewhere that showed it on the center screen...
  17. Finally Built

I was able to stop by the lot and check it out yesterday! I should have it tomorrow or Friday!
  18. Finally Built

...and she is DELIVERED! I'll try to stop by later on today and grab some pictures if it's parked outside! Shipping took a total of 46 days (the total process so far has been 243 days since my order was placed). One major step closer to actually having my truck!
  19. Finally Built

Mine is "In Route" as of yesterday! It should be in today at some point! It's been sitting at the VA/NC border through the night, so I'll keep an eye on it. My dealer said the PDI process takes about 48 hours for them, so it's looking like I'll pick it up Thursday or Friday!
  20. Finally Built

Mine also just showed as pending pickup in the last hour or so! I'm ready to be done with this whole process, and I can't wait to finally see it! They typically leave the shipping yard within a day or so when they head to my dealership, so it should definitely be here by the end of this week!
