Thanks yeah, going back up never restored the mirror to working without power cycle. I went ahead and just tapped a constant 12v so that I didn't have to deal with it anymore.

Thanks for the update - I think "only leaks at the tailgate" avoids telling the whole story in your case - I think we would like to figure out ways to mitigate the issue (mine's really not that bad, but I know it can be improved. Hopefully without epoxy!)

I agree - I will absolutely be ordering again through Chapman. Warning though, I don't think they will do CD's anymore (too many issues with certain troublesome customers)
