I’m not critical of the Maverick. I really like it. And it meets my needs just fine.
I’m not criticizing the Maverick. I love it and it meets my need fine. I was coming off a 4Runner with a steel skid plate and I was taken aback by the noise made by the not very high weeds until I thought that...
Mav is easy for my wife to enter and exit but the ground clearance is minimal. The first time I drove over high weeds on the farm I heard all this loud sliding noise from underneath. Apparently caused by the grass rubbing against all the plastic under the motor.
What is the purpose of the small flaps that extend below and at the rear of the front bumper just in front of the front tires? I frequently drag them on curbs when I park. I think I can unbolt and remove them. I don’t see that they serve any purpose. Maybe a minuscule effect on mileage?
Have had my Lariat for 6 months. I’m a bit over 6ft and to me the seats are very comfortable and sit at the right height. On most cars I have to take a break at the 2 hour mark but with the Mav I can push out closer to 3 hrs. I rarely use the lumbar support but when I do, it seems fine.
Have had my Mav Lariat for 6 months. The pluses you listed are accurate. Almost all my driving is in town and I get combined 24+. And the cruise is excellent! I changed from a 4Runner. i sold my timber property and don’t need the brute 4WD capability of the 4Runner anymore. Well satisfied with...
Raises a question. Off road, when I want to go from one spot to another a few minutes away at low speed, if I touch the ok button will the seatbelt alarm stay silent? Or will it come back on after a delay? I hate to repeatedly put on my seatbelt when I’m just going from one spot to another and...
My Yee Pin organizer arrived today. Exactly like shown above. Fits perfectly. Ordered from Yee Pin in China June 6. I placed my order when the product first appeared on Amazon, before the description and photos were updated. Orders placed now may arrive more quickly.
I had to wait a week or so on mine. You might talk with your dealer to make sure all the replacement parts are on hand if needed and only then take it in for inspection.
I ordered one in early June. It was picked up by the carrier Yun Express on June 6. On July 6 it reached Schenzhen, a big port near Hong Cong. (Everything in China is big) So now it has to move half way around the world. Amazon says it is late and I can cancel the order. I’ll wait but it won’t...
Yep. I used to have a car that dragonflies thought was water. It would be sitting parked and dragonflies would swoop down and touch the hood, probably trying to lay eggs.
MLowe05 is spot on. Come on guys. These trucks weren’t built in the 1950s. Why waste money and oil doing unnecessary maintenance? Ford dealers make most of their money from maintenance. Bringing our trucks in every three thousand miles is great for them. Why would anyone think that Ford...
