Sure.... Building a truck in Mexico where there have never been pilgrims.
I'll bet the Ford support staff who handle scheduling and email programming work in the U.S. AND will be OFF ON THANKSGIVING NEXT THURSDAY. Thus, there will be NO SCHEDULING EMAILS SENT OUT ON THANKSGIVING DAY, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 2021.

I don't understand how we can go the entire month of November with only one week of scheduling, and a very light week at that. What about the allocations? Are they just gonna get rolled into December?

I'm still hoping there will be more emails sent out today.

I never quite understand factories getting holidays off, Christmas sure but I've worked a ton of shitty jobs in my life and none of them ever got holidays off except sometimes Christmas and even then it wasn't a given.

I'm not saying like screw these guys or anything but I'm just surprised at the quality of employment at Ford apparently.

I mean, can't Ford technically schedule on Thursday, just auto send out the e-mails. 7/7 hybrid with nothing but floor mats and still no production date. Ordered from a small town dealer in Iowa and am starting to think the allocation system is giving deference to large dealers.
But who is going to be in the office to ask the magic 8 ball who gets scheduled?

I got my notice for my XLT Maverick Hybrid to be built week of December 20th
When did your email arrive? Yesterday or today? Inquiring minds need to know.

Here's a little hope on the horizon:

Ford to collaborate with Global Foundries to make chips.

"The strategic alliance aims to boost chip supplies by advancing semiconductor technology development and manufacturing in the U.S. Under the non-binding agreement, GlobalFoundries will create semiconductor chips for Ford’s current vehicle lineup, while the two companies will also collaborate on research and development and manufacturing opportunities. Additionally, the alliance will explore semiconductor solutions for battery management systems, ADAS, and in-vehicle networking."

my Hybrid is still scheduled for the week of the 22, has been pushed back 3 times, yet to receive an email from Ford
My last email from Ford also stated build the week of 11/22. Because of the lack of emails from Ford I have the dealer email me a snapshot of the "Vehicle Visibility" report on Saturday's because Ford updates this form on Friday's.

Entry on 10/29 Scheduled to Week (Week-of 11/22/2021)

This was followed by:

Entry on 11/05 Scheduled to Day (Nov-28-2021)

then

Entry on 11/12 Scheduled to Day (Nov-29-2021)

Notice all changes were done on Friday's.

Ford Maverick No Maverick Scheduling Next Week (11/22) Scheduled to Day 11-28

Ford Maverick No Maverick Scheduling Next Week (11/22) Scheduled to Day 11-29

Well if that's the case, then that Dec. 2 scheduling date is potentially going to be a big day judging by the allocations vs. those that were scheduled. I think I saw that Long McArthur only had one of their 100+ allocations scheduled this round.
Did I hear right that you said that: Long McArthur only had one of their 100+ allocations scheduled this round. Was that for this last round on 11/18?
If that was the case then Ford did not do Long McArthur any favors at all by using only one of there allocation.

It doesn't seem like very much scheduling happened this week either.

I'm pretty sure that's what I saw someone else post that Tim said. I haven't had time to go through and find it again.

Closed for Thanksgiving? I thought that Thanksgiving was strictly a US holiday.
It pretty much is, but the scheduling is done in the US so just because there's no scheduling doesn't necessarily mean there's no manufacturing going on.

Tentative nonbinding and also this would be years away unless they did some back door shenanigans like "ok we'll commit to $X if you prioritize us through this production period"
