Came back here to link this email if there wasn't a thread already. I too got the email, I got my deposit refunded back in February and ordered a Subaru so this felt like a little bit of vindication.
For the record I did not drop the CP360 from my build before "cancelling". I'm guessing the...
I am willing to wait quite a while, I am willing to compromise on features, I am willing to compromise on quality, but I am not willing to do all three.
I have thought for a while about the Maverick obviously, I was very excited to get it and I still really want it. I begrudgingly set aside...
Anyone know a good car to buy? :ROFLMAO:
Not sure if I'll keep my order or not. I will absolutely not be waiting another full year to get a year old model. Unless they are going to give me a free Lariat Lux upgrade or something -- which they won't.
Have to think a while about that. I'd...
1) It ain't gonna be $70k out the door
2) I am pretty baffled at how one goes from a maverick to a raptor bronco as these aren't even remotely in the same planet of need/type.
To sortof respond to the "hybrid owners will never understand thing"
I'd get it if like, you regretted not waiting...
I almost cancelled my mats and got the weathertechs instead for this reason but after I thought about it for a moment, I'll just feel better mentally knowing it doesn't reach up that high. Its not like I'm cleaning off my muddy boots on my gas pedal.
Well, if you're 6ft tall then your feet are going to be hanging off.
It really just turns out that nobody makes good bed tents for any truck. You can get a bed-based pop-up but it is not easily removable or a camper shell which is still too short.
I just said screw it and I'm going to build a...
I love the Prius, I've driven an older one and a newer one and think they're just fantastic. I made fun of them initially when they came out and when I finally drove one I was like oh, actually this is pretty cool. It also wasn't slow as molasses which I expected it to be.
I was originally...
Thanks for the review, hopefully there will be a decent aftermarket rear view mirror. I would pay quite a bit to have one that integrates a dash/rear cam and homelink.
Good point about the backup camera when the tailgate is down. I don't know where you could really put it though, if you go any...
Personally I do not understand the thirst for performance on the maverick but I'm sure other people could say the same about a car that I would modify like an Acura ILX. In general I'm not keen on performance mods within the warranty period but I like that people do it and I like reading about...
I would always lean towards "Any modifications under the hood CAN void your warranty" but I am not a lawyer nor a mechanic nor a dealership. My take is that I don't want to give them a reason to void my warranty.
I was also interested in options and bounced around some ideas before stumbling onto teardrop campers. You can pretty easily build/buy one under 2000 pounds loaded up, it is a dry elevated place to sleep and has all your cooking/cleaning needs out back.
People get fancier with them going...
Size wise I think we're all a bit too used to giant f150s to be honest. The Rivian looks to me like a midsize truck should. Definitely more on the lifestyle side which is why I think the length/bed is deceiving for this size.
Really handsome car in the real world I like it a lot.
