  1. Constraint Update Email Coming Today: Co-Pilot 360, XLT Luxury, Lariat Luxury

Came back here to link this email if there wasn't a thread already. I too got the email, I got my deposit refunded back in February and ordered a Subaru so this felt like a little bit of vindication. For the record I did not drop the CP360 from my build before "cancelling". I'm guessing the...
  2. Adios and Goodbye

I am willing to wait quite a while, I am willing to compromise on features, I am willing to compromise on quality, but I am not willing to do all three. I have thought for a while about the Maverick obviously, I was very excited to get it and I still really want it. I begrudgingly set aside...
  3. To Order Ranger?

I cannot bring myself to spend full dollars on something old. I won't even buy one that isn't getting replaced but is just old.
  4. Dealer Insight Into Delays: Hybrid / Co-Pilot 360 / Luxury Package / Spray-In Bedliner (by Tim Bartz)

Anyone know a good car to buy? :ROFLMAO: Not sure if I'll keep my order or not. I will absolutely not be waiting another full year to get a year old model. Unless they are going to give me a free Lariat Lux upgrade or something -- which they won't. Have to think a while about that. I'd...
  5. No choice, but to sell my Maverick???

    1) It ain't gonna be $70k out the door 2) I am pretty baffled at how one goes from a maverick to a raptor bronco as these aren't even remotely in the same planet of need/type. To sortof respond to the "hybrid owners will never understand thing" I'd get it if like, you regretted not waiting...
  6. Ford Floor Liners for Hybrid Maverick Installed

I almost cancelled my mats and got the weathertechs instead for this reason but after I thought about it for a moment, I'll just feel better mentally knowing it doesn't reach up that high. Its not like I'm cleaning off my muddy boots on my gas pedal.
  7. Anyone used a bed tent before?

Well, if you're 6ft tall then your feet are going to be hanging off. It really just turns out that nobody makes good bed tents for any truck. You can get a bed-based pop-up but it is not easily removable or a camper shell which is still too short. I just said screw it and I'm going to build a...
  8. 📣 1/20 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS ARRIVING!!]

I dont know... I think I wouldn't mind seeing a November order or two ;)
  9. Cheap auto-dimming, homelink mirror

Awesome find, this was on my list of things to find when I get my truck but considering the price I just went ahead and grabbed one.
  10. Maverick or Prius?

I love the Prius, I've driven an older one and a newer one and think they're just fantastic. I made fun of them initially when they came out and when I finally drove one I was like oh, actually this is pretty cool. It also wasn't slow as molasses which I expected it to be. I was originally...
  11. 5000+ miles, so how is it? 2.0 Maverick owners review

Thanks for the review, hopefully there will be a decent aftermarket rear view mirror. I would pay quite a bit to have one that integrates a dash/rear cam and homelink. Good point about the backup camera when the tailgate is down. I don't know where you could really put it though, if you go any...
  12. Buschur's much need front mount intercooler for 2.0L underway!

Personally I do not understand the thirst for performance on the maverick but I'm sure other people could say the same about a car that I would modify like an Acura ILX. In general I'm not keen on performance mods within the warranty period but I like that people do it and I like reading about...
  13. Buschur's much need front mount intercooler for 2.0L underway!

I would always lean towards "Any modifications under the hood CAN void your warranty" but I am not a lawyer nor a mechanic nor a dealership. My take is that I don't want to give them a reason to void my warranty.
  14. 🦖 Ranger Raptor Shows Off Its Muscles by Dropping Camo

Infinitely better than the current gen, I don't get the crossbar thing though behind the rear window.
  15. Maverick Street Truck Build w/ Custom Paint, Graphics & Wheels

It is clearly quality work. If you're going to make a showy car you may as well go nuts with it.
  16. Hybrid Towing and Camper Options

I was also interested in options and bounced around some ideas before stumbling onto teardrop campers. You can pretty easily build/buy one under 2000 pounds loaded up, it is a dry elevated place to sleep and has all your cooking/cleaning needs out back. People get fancier with them going...
  17. EPA uses E0 gas for testing

Oh cool, really quite the void over there in the southwest
  18. Maverick vs Rivian parked side-by-side [NA Truck of the Year Finalists]

Size wise I think we're all a bit too used to giant f150s to be honest. The Rivian looks to me like a midsize truck should. Definitely more on the lifestyle side which is why I think the length/bed is deceiving for this size. Really handsome car in the real world I like it a lot.
