I have one on my '24 Lariat Hybrid. 1st winter with it on, seems to help. Bought it off of Amazon, really crappy fasteners. They hold it up but just barely.
Ditch the that Ford dealer, pronto! You have 2 batteries but they are not the issue. Your BMS needs to be flashed with a software update, then reset so the deep sleep message is cleared. Have another Ford dealer do this, it's all covered under warranty. I just had this done at a Lincoln (!) dealer.
There are several products that give you SYNC-4 capabilities for under $100. Magic Link is one of them. Been using it for the last 6 months on my '24 Mav.
Yeah, I'd love AWD & newer tech but my '24 Lariat Hybrid only cost me $38k with the X Plan out the door. My wife loves to drive it, so we keep her $60k Sedan in the garage most of the time.
I paid cash as the loan interest rates are ridiculous. With my buddy's X Plan, my Lariat Hybrid was $37k out the door. In 2019 I leased a Lincoln MKZ with stickered at $55k. Leased it for $400 per month with $3k down payment. Hated those monthly payments!
My engine is sometimes loud, sometimes fairly quiet (for an ICE). I just ignore it, put it in Eco mode and use my gas pedal to keep it in EV mode as much as possible. No one behind me notices, just another Old Fart in his truck! ;)
