The majority of orders are going to be produced by March/April. Ford’s probably going to start handing out extra maverick allocations.

Is that the end of the frenzy I see on the horizon?!?
I go to place my order today, it looks like my only constraint may be the hitch, but I am hoping march april would still be my timing because I dont want it to show up until early next year for tax season LOL

Long McArthur video said cleanup scheduling only on the Maverick for Oct. 16 to Oct. 30.
Well both my orders are scheduled for Oct 16th and Oct 30th. So hopefully they get built as planned.

BTW all scheduling appears on hold. No info released this week.

Note: There are currently 47,961 total retail unscheduled orders.

Retail USOB: Is the current mix of retail orders in the unscheduled order bank (USOB) at the time the report was run. The report only looks at orders that are “clean”, meaning they do not have a compatibility error, material hold or on 99 priority code.

A recent video by Long McArthur Ford said Maverick scheduling for 9/7/23 is cleanup only for Oct. 16 to Oct. 30.

I realize scheduling occurs Thursdays, but how often, weekly?

I'm a new MY24(not rollover), seems like after order banks opened the first scheduling week queued multiple weeks worth of orders. Then we skipped a Thursday, now we're in "cleanup only" mode. Is there a pattern to this I've missed?

For my emotional well being I would like to know the pattern to my future disappointments. Thanks!

They usually do one big scheduling once a month. The other weeks are usually just cleanup or other various orders. Sometimes you can get picked up during those weeks but it's not as likely.

We'll probably have a big one for November next week or maybe after. Then don't expect any other news until 4 weeks later when they schedule for December.

Ford shouldn't offer the XL if they aren't going to build them!
Or the Hybrid.
When the 2022 first came out Ford was waxing lyrical about a base model hybrid costing under $20,000.
But the XL hybrid is the exact one they just won't build.
And god help you if you want a hitch or mud flaps.
(And it sure don't cost $21,490 anymore.)

But now Ford is building more hybrids than ecoboosts! I just talked to my dealership and they have 5 hybrids coming in any day now, but my ecoboost has not been scheduled. Why did I change my order last December? Because Ford said it would not be able to fill the hybrid orders. A hybrid is what I orginally ordered so I guess I should have left my order alone. I also have had holdups due to the tow hitch and full size spare. Guess, I should drop those, also. What a mess!

I contacted my dealer to remove the splash guards from my order and got a new DORA. Now the only constraint I have is the hitch
How bad of a constraint are the hitches proving to be?

It's in the document in post one of this thread.
They don't seem like a major problem right now.
Thanks. I'm new here so not really sure how bad the ratio of orders vs capacity has to be for a significant delay.

Shouldn't be much. There are 31,654 orders in the bank with a hitch. Capacity is 65,000+. Ford can make about 5,000 hitches monthly, so in about 6 months they'll all be accounted for.

It will take some time, but hitches by volume are actually the least constrained item.

Also, usually the "big" scheduling days are usually 4 weeks of production and somewhat correlate to a production calendar month. The last big scheduling for the start of 24s was only for 3 weeks. They could do another 3 weeks in the next scheduling to fill out November. Or they could schedule the more typical 4 weeks of production. Only Ford knows.
