The
Unfortunately I just received an email from Ford... my production date has moved from Nov 6 to Nov 26. Given the holidays I can't even guess when I might actually take delivery. Hybrid XLT with Lux and Co Pilot. SOOO Disappointing.
The XLT is one of the longest lines to wait in. XL has been exhausted. We are seeing a lot of Lariats get scheduled including two we have on order. You may want to consider upgrading if your in need of the truck sooner than later.

I ordered and waited for an XL Hybrid. So glad I did! I only NEEDED to change the wheels. The rest I'm very happy with.
With the cost of wheels and tires your probably about half way to the price difference for a Lariat.

Not even close. The wheels and tires were $750. My truck was $25K. I sold my wheels & tires to recoup $500 of the wheel upgrade cost. So these wheels with snow tires cost me $250.

And If I bought the Lariat I would be stuck with vinyl seats with the Lariat, which I do not want. And wheels I like less than these.

I did upgrade my order from XL to Lariat on my roll over. Wheels and tires are not even close. I did upgrade for several reasons. Yes, to get a better chance of a truck (at least sooner as a roll over), for the full safety suite and ACC, for the sliding rear window, and I decided to get moonroof now that I could. The fully contented Lariat is also a slightly better value than it was when all the luxeries were separate options. The time I have waited has gone a long way toward saving up for the Maverick, making the upgrade doable. I do think l would have been happier if I just got my '23 XL. I'LL probably never know. Just looking forward to getting my Maverick now.

Very happy with my 23 XL, and I wouldn't trade it for another trim. But I'm sure you will love your new truck too. No matter what trim, they are awesome little trucks.

Anyone want to bet on whether the Maverick makes it to my driveway before year end? That's year end 2023 I'm talking about :)
