To be fair, this was a "Where is the green tab?" post and not a "WHAT THE HECK IS THIS GREEN TAB?!?!?!"
Someone read their manual and is learning about their truck! Nature is healing!
Ford has been very willing to load up the Lariats quickly into the queue. As long as your dealer has allocations (if they didn't they shouldn't have taken the order anyways) I don't think you'll be waiting too long.
I believe the next big scheduling day is April 18th.
After your truck leaves the assembly line it's still not "Built". If there's a bedliner or any exterior accessories it goes to the body shop to be installd. If there's an open recall it will wait in the yard to be fixed. There's a number of reasons why you sometimes have a gap between when it...
Really impressed by the interior refresh. They pretty much solved all my gripes with touch buttons and gloss black.
Overall I like the appearance of the SC over the Maverick. I like fun, quirky vehicles (owned a Flex and Kona before my Mav) and think the styling of the Maverick is a bit of a...
Should be when it goes into production. If you're using the link from the Ford tracking site or the email, they're broken.
Punch your VIN into http://fordwindowsticker.com and see if it comes up.
Ford does a big scheduling once a month and resets parts availability when they do this big scheduling. So if parts are "exhausted" now, that just means they've allocated all their parts to that one big monthly scheduling already. When they do the next big scheduling they get another batch of...
This memo is only for new scheduling. Does not apply to already scheduled orders.
It means any new clean-up scheduling this week needs to be Ecoboost XLT/Lariat.
Just did this on my MY24 Lariat Hybrid. Tried to remove the nag screen while keeping the symbol/chime but it didn't work. Ended up just disabling everything like in the first post. Thanks!
I enabled this on my MY24 Lariat Hybrid and the speed shows up on the screen as a circle with a red ring around it instead of a normal traffic sign. Weird.
Anyone seen this before? Is it expected behavior or did I mess something up?
EDIT: Had to follow the instructions in this post...
When you go through the purchase process on the Ford accessories site and select the install, the checkout process will show you what dealers are approved for the $24 charge. There were only one or two out of the 10+ dealers around me that were part of the program.
This only affects unscheduled builds. If you already have a build date then this doesn't apply to you. If you have a build date then Ford has determined they have everything they need to build your vehicle.
This memo basically says "we can squeeze in X number of new builds in our assembly line...
Ford does a big scheduling once a month. That scheduling was last week. The next few weeks are to slot in any open availability with whatever parts they may have on hand. They may pull in some XLs in the next 3 weeks but it's less likely than other models.
Availability resets at the next big...
