Were you driving it everyday? or were you leaving it for long periods of time is that why you charged it with an outside charger? My truck never goes more than half a day without being driven.

No insult but you're not understanding what a hybrid is. A non-plug-in hybrid. You'd be lucky to get 1 to 2 mi on your 1 kW hour Maverick battery. Pure electric vehicles have a 60 to 140 KW hour battery. Plug-In hybrids have at least a 20. Do you see the scale? You would need a battery at least...
