BTW all scheduling appears on hold. No info released this week.

Note: There are currently 47,961 total retail unscheduled orders.

Retail USOB: Is the current mix of retail orders in the unscheduled order bank (USOB) at the time the report was run. The report only looks at orders that are “clean”, meaning they do not have a compatibility error, material hold or on 99 priority code.

The much smaller deficit between hybrid capacity and orders is refreshing!

Scheduling information might've been on hold/delayed due to Labor day weekend. Not surprised

USOB went up by around 900. So Ford got more new orders than they scheduled.

The majority of orders are going to be produced by March/April. Ford’s probably going to start handing out extra maverick allocations.

Is that the end of the frenzy I see on the horizon?!?

Almost all added vehicles appear to be XL EBs.

Difference from last week below. Ford either scheduled some XLTs and/or some people moved their orders around as there have been 998 total trim changes compared to 865 total additional orders equal 133 trim changes.

Unbelievable that there's less than 2400 6G Rangers in the USOB,,,,,

Not surprised. Looks worse than the current gen Silverado, a lot more expensive than last year, and only available in crew cab.

I think the Maverick is really eating at the Ranger’s order on the lower end, and the F150 makes more sense on the upper end.

I’m looking forwards to September 12th for the 2024 F150. Hopefully a PHEV or more fuel efficient hybrid coming. I would love a F150 Rattler Powerboost PHEV

I had a 1998 Ford Ranger XLT SuperCab for 16+ years and parted with it in 2014.

Ford brought back the Ranger to the US in 2019 but like all newer trucks it got huge.

I had no desire to ever own a Ranger again.

Then came the Ford Maverick in 2021 with its size almost exactly the same as the 1998 Ranger and a Hybrid to boot.

Seems like others feel the same in not wanting the Ranger (2,400 orders) but do want the Maverick (47,961 orders)

Do we know if the USOB Retail number includes the 2023 Model Year rollover orders? I would assume it does.

The frenzy might be over come march / April of 24. Post 6 shows around 900 new orders so is that continues that plant might have capacity to meet demand 2x give or take come mid/24. Obviously not everyone wants to order and many would love to just go and buy so demand might be higher but we might start to see these go off the lot without markup or little below.

This isn't an F150. I'd be surprised if Ford threw more than a grand on the hood.

What I'm more curious about is the low number of new hybrid orders...

A bunch of problems with the hybrids. Bad news gets around rather quickly.

I contacted my dealer to remove the splash guards from my order and got a new DORA. Now the only constraint I have is the hitch

It should.
Ford's solution to the carryover was to facilitate the dealer entering a 2024 order with a code. Thus we should have complete representation.
