I am not too tall at 5'11" but the floor is a little lower than the door sill, so it does cause my foot to get caught sometimes getting out. the opening is soo much easier to get in/out vs my Mazda3 hatch.

Since the Maverick you sit more like in a chair with your knees almost making a 90 instead of more forward facing it was a lot easier for me to get into it than any med size like a Ranger, Tacoma, and the GMC twins were the worse.

The Maverick is way better than my wife's Volvo XC40. I have a pet peeve with designers lowering modern rooflines for aerodynamic and styling reasons. I miss the tall roofs of my youth. Most people don't notice because it's an unconscious habit, but you have to to duck your head to enter-exit most smaller and midsize vehicles these days. Even my older generation Ranger had an easier entrance.

I really noticed the head bob when my back went out a few months back. It was a genuine contortion act to get into and out of my Maverick without pain, and I'm a pretty trim guy and only 5'9".

Pay attention to your head next time you enter-exit your Maverick. You'll see what I mean. OTOH, maybe it's because I like my seat fully raised. Folks who have it all the way down maybe don't have to do the head bob thing.

Maverick has a rather tall door sill which causes you to have to lift your leg higher to exit. My salesperson said he would have a Maverick but his wife has a hard time lifting her leg over the sill.
No problem getting in but out

I have a hard time to get left foot out as it always get stuck again the front jamb ( C pillar?)
That would be part of the "A" pillar...

Occasionally, I catch the top of the Weather Tech mat when I'm wearing Ariat boots, with other shoe combinations my muscle memory takes over.

I used to bump my head getting into my 2021 Bronco Sport. Glad I traded it for my Lariat.

I am not especially tall or large yet when exiting the driver seat I found the door opening to tight.
Do you have the same experience?

I personally have no issues getting in out of my Maverick, but guest do. They almost allways scrap the plastic entry pieces leaving marks, some can be removed, some cannot. I hate it, but have to remind guest to be careful because the recycled plastic is easily marred.

I'm 78 and no exiting issues.. Getting in and out of my wife's Lexus clown car is a challenge.
