I personally have no issues getting in out of my Maverick, but guest do. They almost allways scrap the plastic entry pieces leaving marks, some can be removed, some cannot. I hate it, but have to remind guest to be careful because the recycled plastic is easily marred.

Easy but nerving job. I replaced my lights with brighter LED. I can hardly see at night when making turns. The brighter LED helps. I used masking tape to protect paint and plastic tools included in bike tube replacement kits.

I purchased the OEM hitch and installed by myself. The job took about 3 hours. Straight forward following utube video. One tip would be to remember where each screw attaches the plastic bumper. There are like 3 different sizes.
instead of doing the channel thing, I used stainless eye bolts with stainless flat washers and lock tight , ordered 2 sets.I would do the same again, handy and plug the holes before rusting.

I had the fumes issue when filing up.
I tighten the two stainless steel clamps connection the filler tube to the tank. The area stayed wet with fuel until I went through two cycles of tightening the clamps and learning to not overfill by stopping the fuel delivery after the first pump handle click.
Order Ford hitch, Hybrid delivered without. Used points to purchase Ford hitch. Watched a couple YouTube videos installed my self in 3 hours. Not a bad job at all, no issues
