Beautiful truck. I love black but I cannot handle the effort needed to keep it clean... Love the CG for not showing dust as I have about one mile of dirt/gravel road and driveway to my house.

Enjoy the truck!
thank you for the kind compliment. i love the black, but it is a chore keeping it clean...lol

Thank you very much for the kind comment. i am very happy with the truck. there are many people here with far more upgrades to their Mavericks, but i think for a small budget i was able to make the most of it.

the one more cosmetic change i desperately want to make is the Fog Lights from Diode Dynamics, but i refuse to pay $400.00 for a fog light kit. i have seen people here modify existing F-150 Fog Lights to work with the Maverick front bumper, but i lack the ability to do such intricate work, and it even when you do that type of modification well it still looks like its a component made to work for it, and not something that came with it.

My goal was to personalize my Maverick to suit me, and my likes. i think i did that, and didnt spend an insane amount of money doing it.
The good stuff is expensive. The diode dynamic kit works great and was engineered vs some hack jobs.

i absolutely agree with you. i have seen some hack jobs for the foglights, and i refuse to do that to my baby. i believe the dynamics kit is worth every penny. i just cant get my wallet on board with the program..... lol.

fyi- i love your signature quote.... lol :)

I would say "enough" was right before you put that plastic thing on the front. It looks ridiculous to me but if you are happy with it my opinion doesn't matter.

Stuttgart here. I haven't been to Baumholder but I ski with a guy who works there. I think mine was one of the first Mavericks in Germany. I ordered mine in Aug of 2021 as soon as MAS let me order one and got it May of 2022. It has been a good vehicle for here size wise. I barely drive it though as I bike and use public transit mostly. I pretty much just use the Maverick for road trips. I see some Mavericks almost every day here nowadays.

I would have enjoyed getting to try mine out on the autabahn. if i had mine in Baumholder i would be doing is driving uphill all the time.... lol. i was a 13 Bravo and i spent more time in the field than i did at base so i imagine my driving time would have been limited too.

I was coming back from Czech on the A6 on a Sunday morning with barely anyone on the road. My hybrid tops out at 176kmh/109mph as advertised. It doesn't want to hold over 145-150kmh or so for extended periods. I had the cruise set at 160kmh and it would back down to 145-150 on even the slightest of hills after 10-20 minutes. Another poster suggested it was slowing down due to heat on the generator/starter and a need to protect it. I am not sure though.

Either way, this is from part of the trip and actually has 10 minutes or so of city driving before getting on the autobahn. This is about 27mpg and the only time I have gotten under 30mpg that I remember.

Ok I have had my Maverick for a little over a year now. When I bought it it was bone stock. Since then I told myself I wanted to make it mine, and not just a copy of every other Maverick out there. My only criteria were to keep it reasonable, and not blow my savings doing it.

I think I accomplished that goal, and made it mine, and reasonable at the same time. Here are some following pictures from beginning to end. Would love to hear from you guys and what you did to yours to make it yours???

the first 5 pics are when I first got it, and the last 5 pics are of it today.

thanks,
Rick

Yes. it can be purchased on ebay. i have posted a link in this thread that will take you directly for the listing for it. its relatively easy to install. i did it in 2 hours with little issue. the lights you see in it are white running lights, and sequential turn signals. i posted a video of them working so you guys could see what they look like.

Does it seem like it changed your gas mileage any?
Not really. in all honesty i never gave much thought to any possible changes good, or bad to my fuel mileage??? after installing my K&N air intake kit my truck averages 33.6-35 mpg consistent. i drive 74 miles a day (all interstate), and that mpg is pretty darn good for that.

I made it mine with only mud flaps and proper floor Matt’s.
It’s a AWD Lariat Eco.
AWD, I actually needed that,
Lariat, got more toys than I needed, Like em all.
Ecoboost,
Look up the horse power and torque numbers of the old stock V-8’s of the 70’s and 80’s.
Then compare to the Ecoboost.
Small V-8 power on tap and 28 mpg :’P
That is why I chose the 2.0 Turbo.
