For those that have changed their oil already, did the oil life monitor reset on its own? Or did you have to reset it manually? Just trying to determine how “intelligent” it is.

Haven’t done an oil change yet but in the dash info , there’s estimated oil life and reset option

Lol done 2 oil changes and you reset it if u use that I went by miles driven changed it at 5k miles each time... but I reset it so that I didn't have to deal with any notifications on my phone from the truck.

Lol I got it Oct. 15. But most of it was over Thanksgiving and Xmas. Made a trip from FL to Ohio then Michigan down to Virginia back to Michigan then Florida on one trip then from FL to mi and back for another trip

Unless you're driving like a maniac everywhere or using canola oil, 5000 miles is a waste of time and money.
To each their own. But most would say me waiting till 5k to do the first oil change was to long. But I've done alot of idling along with the highway miles.

Tbh I only changed it when I did because it's part of my warranty. Free oil changes till 100k through US warranties. Along with alot of other stuff...

Do you get full synthetic oil with your oil changes?

Not sure honestly didn't care too look is all covered so if it's what they recommend from Ford n it's free just say f it let them do their thing. Lifetime warranty on the engine btw

Throw that oil monitor out and change your oil based on your driving habits and miles driven between changes.
