My 2022 Maverick Hybrid has about 2650 miles on it in 10 months of ownership, and the oil life monitor says it's at 12%. Seems very short to me.

Owner's manual says never to exceed 1 year between oil changes.... I think the monitor is also taking time into account! My 2022 Maverick Hybrid has about 2650 miles on it in 10 months of ownership, and the oil life monitor says it's at 12%. Seems very short to me.
Yes, it's because of time.My 2022 Maverick Hybrid has about 2650 miles on it in 10 months of ownership, and the oil life monitor says it's at 12%. Seems very short to me.
If we say you're closer to 10.5 months, then that's 1.5 months remaining - every 12 months/10,000 miles is the upper bound, hybrid might push the miles a bit higher. My 2022 Maverick Hybrid has about 2650 miles on it in 10 months of ownership, and the oil life monitor says it's at 12%. Because that is what they do to every car sitting on the new & used lot.Even if it just sits most of the time you should change the oil once a year.
You need to change your oil once a year or more if you drive a lot. I just had my oil changed yesterday after having my truck for 12 months. I have 2400 miles on it.My 2022 Maverick Hybrid has about 2650 miles on it in 10 months of ownership, and the oil life monitor says it's at 12%. Seems very short to me.

Our 5 month old Ecoboost has 3700 miles on and the monitor says 68% left.maybe it's different driving style? My 2022 Maverick Hybrid has about 2650 miles on it in 10 months of ownership, and the oil life monitor says it's at 12%. Seems very short to me.
