They are not cheap tires. I ran many sets of contis on my vw's over many years getting great mileage and never ever seen dents. I agree with the previous poster that being on all 4 tires it was the transport straps being overtightened that caused the indentations. The dealer should replace them.
Higher octane gas will make no difference. Surging is lack of fuel. Whatever is controlling fuel flow at warm up not providing enough fuel. Running lean is not good and should be addressed. I'd leave it at the dealer and not pick it up till it's fixed. Maybe a software fix to enrichen fuel...
Ordered 11/15...never will see it. It's ok. I think other manufacturers will jump on the small truck band wagon. Wasn't keen on 4 1/2' bed. My current frontier has 5'. Not much better.
If it is gouged, which it appears to be from the picture, bring it to a body shop to see what they think. Their estimates are free. It is then up to you which route you want to go. If you are handy could try to fix it yourself and see how it comes out.
Depends on how you want it to look. A rattle can of paint it will look like a hack job if you are ok with that....otherwise bite the bullet and bring it to a reputable body shop, pay cash and have it done right. They will most likely want to put on a new bumper skin, possibly a bracket. Specify...
Why the hell are they coming from the factory like this? I mean this is crap quality control. This is basic stuff....come on Ford smartin up! Don't tell me it's no big deal. It's such a simple thing and they still screwed it up! These should be torqued to the correct spec at the factory no if...
I plan on using it as my primary vehicle but may never see it because I ordered on 11/15. Did get confirmed. Don't get me wrong, I think its a good vehicle for this price point. There was a lot of cost cutting to keep it affordable but to have a hybrid power train is key. Depends on how I like...
