This should enable full featured climate tab on touchscreen.
I did not create this procedure, I am only documenting other's work.
As always, you should back up module and only try this at your own risk.

Apparently this only works to program while vehicle is running. Most modifications in Forscan use vehicle in acc mode, this one requires running.

In APIM Module

Enable:
Climate Overlay - Dual
Climate Overlay - Max AC
Climate Overlay - Max Defrost
Climate Overlay - Mode
Climate Overlay - Power
Climate Overlay - Recirculation
Climate Auto Seats
Heated Steering Wheel Icon

Seat Button Icon - change to 'Heated Seats'

Write and restart.

I have all those enabled, vehicle running, and I do not get an extra tab. Of all the FORScan both on my MAV and F150. This is the only thing that's not working.

Has anyone increased the temperature of the steering wheel and/or seats?

I'd like to increase the wheel temperature as mine seems to turn off when it reaches x point (too frequent for my hands) but wondering if there's been any issues in doing so.

Does anyone know if perhaps this would work for the sunroof or maybe the drivers door on an XLT? I'd like to be able to let the hot air out before getting in the vehicle like I could with my VWs.

Honestly it's my biggest gripe with the XLT is the silly window controls. That and the speaker/head unit.

Disable Auto Stop/Start
1. Open PSCM (easy mode)
2. Disable Stop/Start
https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...-you-can-do-using-easy-mode.44179/post-811352
While we're at it... I'm confused. Does this disable Auto Start/Stop or does it rather disable Auto... Auto Start Stop?

I guess what I'm saying is that I don't want to get rid of the feature, I just would prefer it off by default when starting the vehicle. I don't think mine remembers after killing the ignition but I could be wrong.

Now the auto hold setting for the brake, I love that. Always irritates me on other vehicles that the vehicle will auto stop at lights but the slightest easing off the brakes or bump on the wheel and the engine would start back up and will idle forward if you take foot off. I'd throw on the parking brake on my Tiguan and take my foot off the brake and it would start right up again whether I was ready or not. So silly.

I believe it just turns off the stop/start feature by default and you could press the button to get it back on, but I'm not sure. Someone else will have to check that because I don't disable it. (I like it--mostly.)

I agree that auto brake hold is great.

I can say that on my 2019 Edge, disabling auto stop/start in the BCM disabled it totally. When you hit the button to activate it, the auto/stop/start icon on the dash shows up but it's grayed out with a line through it. Otherwise no ill effects.

I'll have to disable it manually and see if it remembers my setting after the ignition is shut off.

Apparently it works and is standard on vehicles for a reason, but in most cases (and I'm no mechanic) I'd imagine this causes premature wear on the engine if you are frequently stopped at short lights or 4 way stops.

It disables it completely. I have tested it.

The lariat driver window switch uses a completely different connection than the the Xl and XLT. I tried to swap in a window switch from a lariat and it will not work without also adding a passenger and driver door module. So the mod is not worth it in my opinion because it would be a ton of work to try to make it happen. The funny thing is I enabled global windows open and close on my base model 2015 Focus ST and uses pretty much the same exact window switch as the Lariat maverick lol

Did that b4 i posted actually, didn't find
Why are you afraid to use the non-Easy-Mode method? There are at last two threads showing how to do it that way. It's not difficult and it works.

There is lots of useful information on MTC about using Forscan to make interesting and useful changes to the computer modules in our trucks. This post is not about using Forscan software or programming devices--you can find that information as a sticky in the Forscan forum.

This post is for those who don't speak hexadecimal* or are otherwise hesitant to change as-built codes (or for anyone who wants to make a quick change). I have compiled several changes you can make using "easy" (not as-built) mode. Instead of selecting a module through an as-built entry, look below it and there will be a module with the same name, but not as-built (not in all cases). Connect to that module. It's the same module, just named and accessed differently. The difference is that entries are in plain English [mostly]. Be sure to write the changes. Before doing any of these changes back up your as-built modules. Use at your own risk, of course, but these changes have all done well for me. I've included links in MTC for where more information can be found on these Forscan edits.
[*I know changing as-built modules does not require actually understanding hexadecimal--it's a figure of speech.]
