That coding change did make the paddle shifters functional but did not enable manual mode on the gear shifter. I may try to update or change the firmware of the gear shifter module and see if that has any affect on enabling manual mode.

I would try a radio reset. Caution, this may disconnect your truck from the ford pass app for 24 hours.
Option 1) if you want to permanently disable it, you can disable it via forscan. You can always change the coding back and it will work like it did before.

Just looked into this and the reason it's not working is because the coding for DDM and PDM are moved around on the 2025 compared to the 2022-2024. I just figured out how to get it working and updated the forscan maverick spreadsheet. It is tested and working by @ryan2366. Here is the coding below.
