Honestly find a new dealer and ask the current one to fire that service writer and / or manager because stringing a customer along with bs stories/ products to make it sound they did something is the worst thing a dealership can do . Would find the highest rated dealership in area take it there .

You might want to post a pic of the style you are looking for . I also needed one for a rebuild hybrid i did , ended up buying a set for $800 locally and ebay’d the other 3 for 250$ each as dealer wanted $850 each and a $50 core deposit. Not enough in junk yards yet , but you could look.

Like them , painted of course , a lot better than all the other options of wheel well trim circle things that dont even flare . The additional 1” is nice , at least they can be called flares . Truck looks good with the rims , tires and flares!

My 2023 Maverick Tremor was the first and last New vehicle for me . Always bought used , will continue from now on . In other words I will just have to deal with the small percentage it may affect the used car market. Sorry about the rest of the people that have to buy new.

What internally broke on them ? The ball cage ? Or were they not inserted fully from the factory ? End spline stripped?
