Had these @Diode Dynamics fog lights on the shelf for about 3 month but finally got round to fitting them. Overall a straightforward job with no big challenges. Instructions are clear and concise, I used a combo of the written and video to follow along.

Happy with the end result, they look almost factory and the orange "DRL" matches the others on the front end. The actual lights are strong beam with good width and are a good quality item.

Recommend.

Very nice setup. The only way to go IMHO if one wants fog lights on their Mav. Having an FX/4, I cannot do that install given the tow hooks.

BTW, love the old school incandescent trouble light. I still have some of those but, alas, the nanny state says we can no longer use the light bulbs.

I've actually left it loosely wedged under the steering column while I search for a switch that will sit nicely alongside the factory lightswitch. the supplied one is just a touch too big.

Yeah, I guess these wouldn't work on an FX4. The old trouble light is rocking a modern LED bulb! I reckon the lamp is 25 years old.

I have a 2025 Maverick XLT ordered and most likely will not see it until February or March. Which is fine because it is still cold here. I emailed Diode Dynamics about the Elite Series Add-On Fog Lamp Kit and asked if Diode Dynamics was going to make them & was told they have to see the front end first. Hopefully they ordered a Maverick to get the ball rolling.

Also going to put the HitchMount LED Pod Reverse Kit on. I like lots of light when backing up in the dark. And it is an extra brake light. Planning on changing other bulbs to LEDs.

@Vtec87pr1 has a really good guide and makes a harness for installing and using a F150 light switch that replaces the Maverick one and gives you a factory look on the fog light. It does require using ForScan to modify the BCM settings, but doesn't look too difficult. I have a harness from him in route and will install the fog lights once they get here.

I intend to keep my 2022, so hopefully someone with an early 2025 build in Saint Louis will reach out in the coming months to get it started.

FYI -- the version of the C1 HitchMount for the Maverick currently doesn't include Brake. It is only backup and a dim running light. The brake function function on the C1R drew too much power for the Maverick's electrical system.

The F150 C1R Hitch light does work on Maverick's with 4k tow though. That model of it comes with multiple harness options and one of them is a direct plug and play into the Mavericks tailights for the brake light function. Ran it on mine for months with no issues before I traded it in.

I ran a different DD fog light setup with a similar type of switch. If you aren't going full fancy OEM switch in the headlight panel, it's still really easy to use a step bit on the steering column to put their switch in:

I just did the same thing in my '24 Frontier for DD ditch lights and drilled out a blank switch plate with the step bit

Looks great! I love mine as well. The switch was a pain in the ass but looks factory once installed. Lighting on the aftermarket switch even matches all the other interior switches.

Went to https://www.f150leds.com/collections/2022-ford-maverick and could not find the C1R Hitch light. Am I in the wrong place?
