  1. 2026 tail gate remote lock up grade

As others pointed out, it's standard on Lariat and not available on lower trims. For anyone else who finds this thread, here are some more helpful threads about how to add power locking tailgate for 2025+. It's not as straightforward as 2022-24. 2025 XL auto lock tailgate. Installed Power...
  2. Hybrid Ditch Light Install Power?

The symbol on the black cover indicates that you shouldn't connect jumper cables to it. That's my truck in the video. I had no issues in the roughly 3 years they were installed.
  3. Both Axles Need Replacement and no parts available

I'm impressed they even had a loaner available. Sounds like a decent Ford dealer. They can't control part availability.
  4. Maverick Body Kit

Ahh, sorry. I should have known better with the distinct lack of hallucinated artifacts. Keep up the good work🤝
  5. Maverick Body Kit

Here's a real wide body kit. It's not my style, but it's neat that they put in the work to make it a reality.
  6. Indoor panels on ford mavericks - scratch prevention?

  7. WOW! Imbedded Light Bar by F150LEDs! (Curved Lower Intake LED Bar Wireless)

You don't actually believe this, right? It looks like a Chinese import that sells for $30 (at MOQ 10). And this looks like their "Paladin MKII" lol.
  8. Tailgate lights recommendation?

I don't have any specific product recommendations, but you should be aware of electrical quirks on these trucks. If you plug anything into the 4-pin trailer connector, the truck will think a trailer is connected. It will disable blind spot monitoring. You'll probably also get a warning on the...
  9. Question about highway speeds

As others said, there shouldn't be a significant efficiency change at constant speeds. But I run Eco Mode because it makes adaptive cruise on my 2022 much smoother. Normal Mode adaptive cruise is jarring with slow reaction times followed by harsh acceleration/braking.
  10. Left Side Airbag Cover

I dug up some old pics of my 2022. I don't think it would have changed for 2025+. That panel has 7 clips total. The fir tree clip at the bottom is a bit of a pain to get loose.
  11. Unprotected wiring harness under truck bed near the spring on the rear drivers side

As with virtually all environmentally-sealed connectors, the individual wires seal to the connector housing. Plastic backshells are intended to physically reinforce the wire bundle, not seal it. They're mostly for strain relief, but also for additional mechanical shielding *when needed*.. but...
  12. Mobil-1 oil, filter + STP air filter < $40

I think 72 is basically a new generation spec that will supersede 62. Probably with slightly different additives and performance requirements. When I last bought oil, they had a mix of each spec on the shelf. It looked like they were phasing out 62.
  13. Thanks for the add! Orange you glad I’m here!

A long post does not equate to AI. I have plenty of my own words to constructively contribute to this thread. I spent the formative years of my career in an environment where too many people acted in ways that were more like addicts, rather than hobbyists. I'll take the time to write a long...
  14. Thanks for the add! Orange you glad I’m here!

Welcome to the forum! I used to be a design engineer in aftermarket parts, and a couple of my (nearly-stock) vehicles have been in catalogs. I've seen friends and acquaintances sacrifice serious time and money in pursuit of attention or adrenaline. Free products are cool, but car parts aren't...
  15. LED reverse light bulb for the 2026 Ford Maverick XLT? I’ve tried lights from F15EDs and LAZFIT but none have same base and none work.

The Maverick should use a WT21W bulb for reverse. Most LED companies supply the more common 3157 bulb, which technically can work if you trim some plastic tabs off the bulb base.
  16. Switchback LED for front directionals

Are you saying that you prefer to assume that anyone who flashes you must have something wrong with them? This is what I get for trying to explain high school level optical physics to the general public
  17. Switchback LED for front directionals

Oops! I misread that. He should probably check his low beam aiming. But I stand by my point about glare. Fundamentally, the inherent design deficiencies of LED bulbs in halogen reflectors will cause glare in many lamps. Even if the bulb is relatively dim, it can be harmful when scattered...
  18. Switchback LED for front directionals

Even a dim flashlight can appear bright when it shines directly in your eyes. (I'm sure you already know this part, but..) LED bulbs can't mimic the optical properties of the halogen bulbs they replace. Since the emitters are a different size and location from the original filament, the...
  19. eBay Front Lip (3 Piece Air Designs Style)

Looks better than I expected. a few thoughts The seams between the 3 sections don't stand out as much as I expected The 3-piece design could be for cheaper mold tooling. A single-piece design could have challenges due to the size and the undercuts as it wraps around into the wheel well. The...
  20. Discount OEM Parts Ordered On-Line Using Points?

Here are the two I usually buy from, depending on who's cheaper. I have bought from Fairway using points before; and FPP is pretty responsive, so I don't think you would have any issues there either. Ford Parts Pros, operated by Bommarito Ford in Hazelwood, MO Fairway Ford Parts, operated by...
