I'm intrigued to know how the cold temps would affect the mpg in this particular test? Cold air is denser so there are potential aerodynamic downsides but cold air would be good for making up for the power offset caused by altitude to a small degree at least
I've actually left it loosely wedged under the steering column while I search for a switch that will sit nicely alongside the factory lightswitch. the supplied one is just a touch too big.
Had these @Diode Dynamics fog lights on the shelf for about 3 month but finally got round to fitting them. Overall a straightforward job with no big challenges. Instructions are clear and concise, I used a combo of the written and video to follow along.
Happy with the end result, they look...
I've experienced similar to what you describe with the low rpm, I found that giving the gas pedal a firm stab would kick it down a gear or two, I then return the pedal to its original position and cruise on up the hill.
100% agree, monitoring temps is a must when towing. I use Torque app and an Atoto OBD bluetooth unit. my TT is around 2700lb and have pulled it alot of kms in many conditions, I've never seen the transmission temps go above 205f and coolant above 207f even on long high altitude climbs. Ford seem...
Not a snow photo but we've had some low temps here in BC, touching -38c with windchill into the -50s c, this was a couple of days back, very happy to have a block heater and the heated wheel/seats combo!
