I have my materials now.... just need to do a bit of work with the harness to take advantage of the F150 headlight/foglight switch assembly and keep the backlight functionality (I dig it).

In-laws were here for 20 days... brought Covid from NY, so everyone has been quite ill (we are all vaccinated, but it was still nasty... but no hospitalizations)... Everybody is better and just took them up to Tucson on Monday to fly home on Tuesday.

Now I have to do my install!

You cut out the fascia to install them and they cover the opening you make completely. They are made to fit into the grooved surface and you end uo with a factory looking installation. Fit is very professional and you really can't mess it up. Just take care and follow the instructions on you tube. I have the backlits on whenever my truck is running and the fogs on when I turn on my running lights. I used my own on-off button. They are impressive and light up the front and sides extremely well. I would not hesitate on buying them. I doubt you will find a better working or nicer looking set. They may look small but produce quit a bit of useable light at night....esp if you are watching out for deer on the sides.
Do you need to remove the facia, or just use a Dremel or other device of ultimate destruction to remove than panel?

I would like a switch inside the cab, but I’m not sure how to do that…. Yet…..

I've got no actual use for fog lights, but this kit looks extraordinarily attractive. If I find $300 under my pillow tomorrow morning this is how I'll spend it.

I cut mine with a razor blade. went nice and slow so no deburring afterward like if i had used a dremel

Do they turn off with the high beams?
Good question, i believe they do since they have an activation wire tied into the passenger headlight

I honestly haven’t looked yet, but is the 12vdc being fed to high-beams and low-beams on the same circuit (or wire?).

Mine stay on with the high beams unless shut off. Mounted a switch to the right of the headlight selector. Don't want them on unless I need them. Having them on with the high beams in fog/snow/rain is counter productive as they ruin the distance sight anyway.

Your switch looks great.

Agreed I plan on switch placement in the same spot. I ordered 12mm pushbutton on in amber but with the power on symbol. The yellow ring looks really good too.

I used a dremel and then a microfiber cloth to debur...breaks off the remains easily. You have to remove the front fascia from the truck...if you already installed fender flares it will be somewhat of a hazzle. DD does include wires with their relay block...power with a fuse, ground, backlit amber wire, foglight activation wire and a deactivation wire - incase you really want them off with your highs.

This link provides more info and there is a video on their site that shows how to install. I wired my up differently but to each his own. I would have easily paid Ford $300 for these fogs.
My wiring...

Glad to hear you're all on the mend. Good luck with the install and if you can, lots of photos of the process!
