Did you buy AWD and why?

I bought an abandoned order. Was on the lot and got lucky.
But I am glad I got AWD.

My XLT came with it, it was all I could find, new arrival on dealership lot. As soon as I found it there, took off in my 2011 F250 XLT diesel, traded it. Lucky. I had rejected another Maverick XLT Tremer, because of 4 wheel drive. Not wanted 4x4, but had to bite bullet, get this one or none. And in my price range.

Its required for the 4K tow package. I also like to visit snowy locations occasionally and I sometimes go off-road for camping and other outdoor activities.

Yes, Tremor AWD Advanced.

Wouldn't change it at all either. 25.5mpg over 4,600 miles and the system runs circles around the standard system, which is pretty alright itself.

I did order AWD but didn't vote because there's no option for towing.

Is it me, or is this the 17th version of "why did you buy X" poll that doesn't have towing capacity as an option? I can check off "I bought this way because my dog is scared of purple", but not towing....

I ordered awd, 4k and 360 on xl. We went to NC mountains 2 years ago and stayed in a house on top of the mountain. Had problems getting up the last incline. Never want to experience that again. Live in Florida. Not in the mountains much. But want it just in case. And the 4k is an insane great value for what you pay. No brainer

retired so if the snow is bad I stay home, also the Town garage is at the end of the street so we get plowed out before the mayor does. Retired so i wanted as simple a vehicle as possible, less expense to repair, lower taxes and insurance.
