Not sure if this is going to cover all reasons but I'm curious.

I wanted AWD for both towing and snow.

I voted no because it does not come with the hybrid. I also could have voted no because I do not need it since the base drivetrain is FWD.

I'm surprised towing isn't an option on the poll. I only ordered AWD so I could get the 4k tow package. One of my previous cars was a 2014 Ford Fiesta with fairly crappy all-seasons on it. I live in the US north east, and I can tell you that if you're just careful and use common sense, you really don't need AWD. The exception might be for someone who is on-call and MUST drive in the middle of the snowstorm. Most other jobs allow for delay when there is snow, and once the roads are even a little bit plowed the lack of AWD is just not a big deal if you know what you're doing.

I cant get up my driveway in snow without it. Not a must have in the snow belt but does make the drive much easier. Resale value in the region will be much higher also.

Snow flies in October and does’t melt till breakup sometime in May. Fwd, rwd, hybrid or electric are only practical in the summer here.

Where are you fisher? Sounds like Wawa or Ontario's North (or any of the Provinces' Norths for that matter)!

No: because I am cheap and want a better chance of a trouble-free truck (no rear diff, driveshaft, PTU etc.). I live in Maine but plan to get studded snow tires to mount on steelies (already bought Bronco Sport takeoffs for non-winter months). If weather is that bad I will stay home. Truck (XL EB) has shipped and should take delivery by end of the month. Plan to keep a long time so not worried about resale value.

Because I had to tow a 2wd van up my driveway this week. Barely made it even with my 96 Bronco doing the pull.

I ordered a FWD but after sharing her car with my wife for a month waiting on it, an AWD came up available at my dealership. This is my first AWD vehicle and it's nice to have on occasion but totally unnecessary for me. I'd rather have the FWD and no concerns over the RDU, having to replace all 4 tires if one is damaged and better MPG. I don't regret my purchase but the FWD would have been better for me.

I am in southern California. So, I didn't order the AWD for snow, rain, etc.
I have a 1999 Land Rover Discovery SE7 for going off-road... So, that is not why either.
I bought it for two reasons: 1) I wanted the tow package, and 2) I wanted the better rear suspension for the better ride.
