Misery loves company! I ordered my truck back in September of 2022. Still waiting for delivery! Yea 15+ months. Don't understand why people that are ordering 2024 Mavericks are getting theirs in a lot less time!

Usually join the forum of the vehicle I'm driving. The wait for the Mav was special so it made it more of a community "we're in this together" feel.

Sticking around because I often learn much about the Maverick, help others learn a little, and I enjoy most of the MTCers.

That's why I joined too, so I can read people's response of "allocations" every time this comes up. On the bright side mine is being built finally.

Learned of Maverick in July of ‘21 (somehow), played with ‘Build your Maverick’ for 6 weeks, learned of MTC in that timeframe (also somehow), placed an order in September ‘21, lurked on the site until joining in November ‘21.

Loved the Tim Bartz feeds, teetered forever wondering if my order would be the last of the ‘22’s or first of the ‘23’s (‘22 it is). Learned a lot in the process, most of it now useless gak clogging memory banks, (like the difference between ROVP, COPV and why…).

Occasionally still check in, although most of the entries are now falling into a ‘Groundhog Day’ repeating loop.

Have no idea why I joined, guess it's because of the flagellation I get when I type random thoughts when youse all are trying to be such brainiacs...JMHO

I've joined a forum associated with each of the last 3 vehicles purchased for general or specific information about the vehicle, and for some on-line entertainment. This is the first time I joined a forum before driving my vehicle.

This is one of the better forums I've experienced.

Joined when I spotted the first bare metal photo of the tailgate, wanted to know more.
Think it was just before placing my BS Badlands order.
Your join date still blows my mind. You were here well before the Mav was on any ones radar.
I joined the other Maverick Form ([banned site]) in August 2020. I somehow missed this one and didn't know it existed until a few months later.

I joined after I bought my Maverick. It was my first truck and I was actually searching for a 'howto' on doing something (I forget what it was) in the truck. (Manual? Manual? I don' read no stinkin ...)

Anyway, my search brought me to this forum and I lurked around for a while and actually joined because I wanted a 'Maverick Truck Club' decal. (Thanks, btw, RDRahn). I've enjoyed the tips and tricks, and I've had more than one laugh at some of the topics and comments.

I'm sticking around, because this is the second vehicle I've owned where hacking was part of the vehicle DNA (the Scion). Learning about Forscan to add features, screwing things up, and having to figure out how to fix them makes my tech feet happy. Then there are all the mods that I still have yet to do.

Regarding the problems that some owners are having, this is my 4th time buying 'first model year' cars, and to me the problems are just part of taking a chance on something new and different, and while annoying, it doesn't make me want to trash the car or the company. The rewards for being first often provide benefits to the later adopters, so it all evens out to my way of thinking in my humble opinion.

I joined back in Oct 2021 because I had just ordered our XLT Hybrid and wanted to be aware of what to expect. Well, Oct 2022 we got our XLT and here we are 38,000 miles later with no issues and 37 mpg combined. 80% + has been mountain an highway. Once in town I got 63 mpg, mostly electric. We are very satisfied with the vehicle as well as with the Ford dealership.

My wife ordered a hybrid in August of 2021. Five months later, I decided to search the internet to see if the Maverick Hybrid was actually in production or just vaporware. The MTC confirmed that, at that time, the Maverick Hybrid was mostly just vaporware, for all intents and purposes. It would be another year before her order would actually be delivered. The MTC helped make the long wait less painful.

Still can't understand why some peoples' orders are built quickly and other people have to wait, and wait, and wait.

My Maverick didn't get produced till I gave the dealer a big fat sloppy hug.
