I would definitely buy mine again. I'm glad I bought it when I did (August 23, delivered January 24). Not doubt it would be quite a bit more expensive now, and possibly even more so in the future depending on how the tariffs go.
As the Maverick proved, there's definitely a market for vehicles in this price range. That could quickly change if the subsidy goes away. Personally, I'm not interested in anything all electric.
We had this issue with my daughter's 2003 Toyota Matrix. Mice in the air filter, cabin air filter and even a dead mouse with a bunch of debris in the heater/AC fan. I also had issues with our 2000 Accord. I used cotton balls in plastic bags with peppermint oil and also put some traps in the...
I keep my vehicles for a long time. I still have my 25 year old Honda Accord with 296k on it and there's nothing major wrong with it. I'm hoping the Maverick will last just as long, but time will tell. How long it lasts will depend a lot on how it's maintained. Ford's reputation may not be as...
I'm another one who hasn't experienced the issue and am in no rush to get the recall done. I'll probably wait until the next time I need to bring the truck in for something else.

It's a great feature but nothing new. Ford station wagons had the 2 way tailgate back in the 60s!
Per the video - it looks like the Maverick driver did a much better job of keeping momentum up than the Wrangler driver.
I've owned many Ford products over the years (all of them served me well), but the Maverick is the first one I purchased new. Previous new purchases were Mazda, Honda and Toyota. So far, I'm very happy with my Maverick.
