Works great, never had another deep sleep or anything. I can run my strobe lights all day and never has any effect . I can remote start my truck with ford pass now and I have a garmin 57 dash cam that has the parking cable added on so I have it doing the park thing for 2 hours after I shut the truck down. I did buy the battery straight from optima as the stores were not stocking it yet . Was the DH5 and I paid $335 for it. It’s a little pricey , but works great. I found it easier to remove the trim under the seat as I had to cut off to tabs that prevented the battery from seating. No big deal as they were sheet metal and a used a 4” grinder with a cut off wheel. I did spray paint where I cut to prevent any rust. I’m still on old software too as I just got a notice from ford about the latest one. I’m not doing it for awhile as it fixes turn signal issues I don’t have. I upgraded to all LED with some of them being FENIEX CANNONS. Also had new transmission and 2 hybrid control modules. It’s all good now.i was pretty sure the battery was toast as I drive all day as this is my office on wheels. I stop and 10 minutes later I would get the low battery warnings. Ford already did all the wire harness updates while it was in the shop the first time. That didn’t fix anything. I took matters in my own hands due to I wanted a working battery as it’s used all day and I def wanted the remote start as it’s cold in Kentucky now with snow

hows your battery been lasting now. ive been dealing with the same issue, dealership blaming my dashcam. im tiring of not having my remote start, especially living in canada.
No issues at all. I would disconnect the dash cam just to prove to them the dash cam isn't causing the problem. Also, I purchased my dash cam from Ford.

I had just got my mav back this week for its first oil change and issue with constant “deep sleep mode”. Basically my dealership said I was driving it wrong and the battery is fine. I mentioned I had to charge it every week to avoid the deep sleep and the battery is not holding charge. Their answer: just drive more.

Sorry to hear of y’all going through this. I tried all the shop visits, chargers, etc to no avail. Stopped with no more problems 6 months after removing the app and all the related stuff on the truck. I miss the app features but I don’t miss the warnings, lack of light inside, etc. Maybe I’ll try reinstalling everything later But Ford hasn’t fixed it and I’ll be surprised if they do. Sorry I sound negative but I spent too much time and trouble with no results. Good Luck and if someone has a fix, please post it.

You should not have to drive more. This is a design flaw with Ford's BMS. Other car/truck manufacturers do not have this problem (such as my Mazda SUV). I have the EB Mav and I need to charge it once a week to avoid to avoid high levels of discharge. Get with it Ford!

Im in my truck over 12 hours a day. It would still do it. I have a volt meter on one my USB outlets , shows charging at 15 volts all day. Stop for diner and would get the deep sleep after about 10 minutes. That’s a bad battery that can’t hold any charge. The new battery shows 14.6 volts now most of the time I’m driving. It will stop charging now and drops to around 12.7. Never had a deep sleep after I got rid of it. I wanted to try and charge up the old battery and take it somewhere to load test it to see how bad it is. It’s still laying out back of the house. Holding on to it incase ford figures out it’s crap.

ran a wire from the back to up front. I put a new fuse block in the back for my strobes and switches. I could have put a fuse tap on the panel on the passenger side fuse box. The parking cable was plenty long enough for that. I tapped on a wire that runs the camera in the box for the normal power

I ran a wire from the rear. I installed a fuse block on the wall behind the back seat as I needed several fuses for some equipment. I’m sure there is power in the fuse panel in the passenger floor fuse box. Amazon sells small fuse taps that you remove a fuse and insert the tap and put the fuse back in the tap

If possible put the Ford battery you are keeping on a maintainer as it is much better to keep any battery at full charge to reduce sulfate formation.

My 2023 Hybrid Maverick was doing just fine with NO issues, until FORD had a recall and the dealership reprogrammed it back in January.. Now It goes into sleep mode daily... Took it back and they said there is another update to reprogram the telematics unit for the repair of sleep mode but have to wait another month for the next appointment. I, like others are considering installing a trickle charger and call my Maverick a PHEV, because it seems you have to keep them charging just to be able to drive the vehicle. Truly making me miss the cars I grew up with... I'm 66...

UPDATE 2 weeks since posting: I have slowed the battery drain down from .24vdc over 12 hours to now just .04vdc over the same 12 hours. I did NOT disable the telematic unit by pulling the fuse, but I did all the following. I disabled in the trucks settings all WiFi, Bluetooth, Auto Updates and cell phone syncing. Thanks to another truck owners posting I put my key fobs in a Faraday bag when not in use going somewhere. To my surprise it actually lowers the battery drain. I did not try his suggestion of double locking the truck knowing the I could still lock and unlock my truck from a 100ft or more which tells me the communication is still live. But the Faraday bag does break the link. My truck is not going into deep sleep mode after being parked in cold for 2 days or more. Lastly I installed under the rear seat a NOCO Genius10, 10Amp Smart Car Battery Charger. AC power cord just drops out the rear door with the door close when need to plug into extension cord for charging. This is just the new norm for automobiles made today I guess. Just have to learn something new to live with them. whether it Ford, GM, Stellantis or any other car maker, its the future changes we will have to learn to adjust to....:sneaky:

I haven't picked up my hybrid yet. If after I own it I need to keep a charger on it just to be able to drive it, and be worried about deep sleep, good by maverick. I can't have that worry on trips. I was hoping the my 24's would be fixed. we will see.

If your truck works well when you get it, I recommend you not let them do any updates. Mine was just fine till they messed with the programming.. Mavericks are Mavericks and the programming is also the same. People don't quite realize cars today are no more than a smart phone with wheels.. EVERYTHING is controlled by software and sensors.

Well Tuesday afternoon I put the battery on the charger and got it fully charged. Then left it maintaining through the night. Wednesday morning seemed deep sleep was gone and drove to work fine. Then I get a deep sleep notification 24 minutes after making it to work (I have a 2 mile commute). Don’t tell me battery is healthy.
