If you still have the original FLA battery being kept alive by charging it - you might be too late to get a new battery under warranty. (as mentioned, forget extended, it's a wear item)I put my battery charger on my 23 hybrid XLT every 3 or 4 months. Only problem is no access from Ford app sometimes and no dome lights when opening door, no biggie but shouldn't happen.My state inspection is next month so I will mention it and ask the dealer to check the battery. 3 year warranty ends next month but I do have the Ford extended warranty.![]()
1 month you might be able to encourage the battery the other direction, to get a warranty AGM replacement.
Stop charging it.
Do some dancing in the streets, or at least drive way, radio on truck ONLY in Accessory mode.
No fun for the neighbors to watch if in the garage - so you gotta be outside.
