I know there’s a couple threads on this but none answer my specific problem so I’m asking:
My 22 EB has started going into battery saver mode after a few minutes of being parked. I bought a new battery and it’s still doing it. I put a meter on it after I shut it off and saw minor drain. So I attached a trickle charge and it’s over 13v but the app still says it’s in saver mode.
I have a dash cam hard wired but it doesn’t record unless it’s “shocked”.

Try resetting the BMS Turn ignition on flash high beams 5 times, press and release brake 3 times, wait a few seconds battery light in dash will flash reset complete.

I’d be surprised if the dash cam drew enough power to put it in battery saver mode that quickly, but if you run out of options, maybe try disconnecting the power supply to the dashcam and see if your issue goes away.

My dealership found a couple of current drawing issues with the truck itself, but by themselves they were (barely) within the top end of specifications. However if there is anything else drawing current a little the combination is enough to kick you into battery saver mode quickly.

I had tapped the wrong fuse in adding an amped sub, but once I fixed that and also changed the charge max to 95% my battery saver issues have largely stopped.

YMMV

Recommend not doing this unless you actually have charged up your battery completely.
Manual says that's when it's to be used, for a reason.

Otherwise you are just telling your system - here's a new fully charged battery, note the amps/volts as new baseline.

Keep doing this and you'll just be playing the game of how low can it go. Until dead. Unless that's the purpose.

It does work to turn off some notices and effects of sleep mode - because the system no longer thinks you are on low battery with new baseline.
So now the action to conserve battery in order to start doesn't happen. So drains will continue.

Did you attach the negative connection of the charger on the chassis side of the BMS?

But it is ON WATCHING FOR A SHOCK! NOT pulling as much current as when it's recording. Also depending on which circuit it's drawing power on it could keep that circuit in standby until a time delay expires or if it's the PowerPoint circuit it would stay on for ,90 minutes or when 12v drops to 12.1 volts. Then when you ready truck the 12.1v could read 11.8v while the dcdc powers up and trigger the battery save shedding.
