I agree with the others, I have zero regrets. AWD would be nice in the winter but it's not a necessity. I grew up with rear wheel drive and front wheel drive cars so I know all about how tires make the difference and I know how to drive in the snow.
As for the resale value, who knows? Those things aren't easy to predict but I will say that trucks in general usually have a very good resell value compared to cars and the Maverick so far has not been any different. I highly doubt resale value would matter much except maybe in very few states where they get hammered with snow in the winter.
