26000 miles was beyond warranty? And I am sure your loyalty score was not zero. That is a huge repair, but one thing to keep in mind. When Ford assists, they will almost always ask the dealer to participate as well. When I was with Lincoln, if the factory was assisting we never said no at our dealer. Never. But that is also up to that individual dealer. You say you have 8 fleet trucks. All bought at the dealer where you were asking for assistance? If so, then that is a reflection on that dealer. Ford is a business. And if they wrote checks to every out of warranty client that asked for help they would have a failing business model. These situations suck. For everyone involved. But warranty periods exist for a reason. At the end of the day, people seem to forget this.Ok, so on a business level, 8 Ford fleet vehicles currently. 90% of service at Ford. A 2015 F-350 gasser engine went at 26,000 miles. Beyond the warranty time. New engine required, about $11,000 A known problem according to forums, but apparently the HQ is not aware. Loyalty score was apparently zero. But thanks for breaking it to me......
