  1. Hybrid ICE Wear and Tear

I meant without tailpipe emissions numbers. I donā€™t think the EPA is going to take a vehicle manufacturers word for how clean their engines are. Way too many have gotten caught (AMC, Mack, VW) in the past to trust their numbers.
  2. Hybrid ICE Wear and Tear

If you knew anything about emissions testing you would know it's pretty hard to do with measuring tail pipe emissions.
  3. This is what’s in store for EV owners [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

This is precisely what causes a lot of the animosity, ā€œthat probably shouldā€. Is this still the USA or should we all get ready to get in line for a vehicle that some think should be mandated for the commoner. Where does this stop?
  4. This is what’s in store for EV owners [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

    Tesla hybrid? Itā€™s about time.
  5. This is what’s in store for EV owners [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

And what about the incredible amount of OIL needed to lubricate these huge high friction loss gearboxes. And they leak worse than an old 9 inch Ford differential.
  6. This is what’s in store for EV owners [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

Covering 22 Million acres of land has No Affect On Nature or The Environment? It Will have quite an affect on some rich bastards wallet who by the way could give a rats ass about the economy!
  7. This is what’s in store for EV owners [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

Non EV owners are tired of being told their vehicles are on the short list for future use. Buy what you want and allow the same option for the rest of us.
  8. If they made a full EV Maverick, would you buy, switch? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I donā€™t get the need for such a rapid transition from hydrocarbons to electric vehicles. Let the progression take place at a reasonable pace and also let the buying public decide what stays, what gets added and what gets deleted in regards to our vehicle needs.
  9. Should you buy a Ford Maverick Bed Extender? (Owner Review Video)

I had one on my Frontier and used it all the time. Hauling gas/diesel cans, feed or anything you wanted to limit itā€™s movement. Donā€™t think I would have paid extra for it (but I guess in a round about way I did), it came with the truck as part of a ā€œValue Packageā€.
  10. Drifting in snow w/ my Maverick

Only in an Ecoboost Maverick! Sweet!!
  11. supereddiee - Area 51 Maverick XLT FX4 build (H&R lowering springs, 20" wheels)

Looks sweet, needs a gray, black, silver FX4 sticker.
  12. Maverick Hybrid Grabber Build

Looks nice, donā€™t know if Iā€™d get rid of those wheels though. Arenā€™t they FX4 wheels, the sweetest on the planet šŸ˜‰
  13. Engineering Explained: Do You Really Need AWD or Winter Tires? (summer/all-season/winter tires, and FWD/RWD/AWD)

No, probably not. Funny how you donā€™t see that many threads with AWD owners telling FWD owners why they chose wrong. Drive what you want, be happy.
  14. Engineering Explained: Do You Really Need AWD or Winter Tires? (summer/all-season/winter tires, and FWD/RWD/AWD)

Meaningless response. Would a Funny Car beat a Top Fuel Dragster if the dragster had 10" wide slicks, hell yes. Stick to apples and apples, equal or similar tires must be an important part of this conversation other wise it's just silly.
  15. Engineering Explained: Do You Really Need AWD or Winter Tires? (summer/all-season/winter tires, and FWD/RWD/AWD)

Right, both the Maverick and my old Frontier 4x4 would automatically turn off the traction control depending on the mode (Maverick) or use of 4 Low (NISSAN). I had a 2wd RAM with a HEMI and forgot to turn off the TC on a muddy road. Started to bog down and when I put my foot down there was...
  16. Engineering Explained: Do You Really Need AWD or Winter Tires? (summer/all-season/winter tires, and FWD/RWD/AWD)

Traction control has got more pickups stuck in mud because you canā€™t spin the mud off of the tires. And you trust traction control but not antilock brakes?
