Same here truck is 2 years old and twice in one week. Went in deep sleep mode. Only issue I have had can’t remote start it. Taking to the dealership Friday they say it might need a deep charge? The battery is an AGM
I had a tremor for six months. When I got it the agm was 12.1 volts after 26 mile drive home. Did not drive it much but battery would need the noco about every third week at 11.8-12.1. never activated Ford pass

For some (but not all) folks, getting an AGM has only kicked the can down the road. Hope you are luckier.
Agree. Mine is 2023 Lariat with AGM from factory and the truck won't start when doing chores around the city. Very frustrating. So far after I tried 20 times, it starts. I have been lucky. I am even leaving the truck on and locked when going out for lunch lol!

I just tested the battery with the Ancel battery tester, it tested "Good-Recharge". I think that makes sense with the theory that the BMS is not doing it's job appropriately.
I will recharge it and leave it rest overnight... hopefully this works.

Anyone has any news from Ford finding a fix for this BS?

Cheers
Marco

My 2023 ecoboost came with an AGM battery, and it died this week after 17 months of ownership. Dealership replaced it under warranty, but never had a new vehicle battery die that soon after purchase.
Uhm mine is dying at month 15 😀
I just recharged it and will let it sleep for 8 hours as others have highlighted in the manual, for BMS to relearn battery state of charge...

Did you try charging the battery to full and resetting BMS per manual prior to dropping in a new battery?
My NON Hybrid 2021 Bronco Sport Base model developed the deep sleep not able to remote start from the Ford app issue after just six months of ownership.
I was nice but I got in the service managers face after they said my battery checked out fine. It past a load test but overnight would drop to 11.2 VDC. I was very nice, calm cool.
But I was relentless like the Terminator.
When I finally said, “Take be to your leader”, the dealership owner he buckled.

He said, “Ok fine but I’ll have to buy the battery out of my pocket.”
My reply, “Don’t bullshit and lie to me, just give me my battery.”
I almost lost my cool, but didn’t.

The new battery solved all my issues. 3 and 1/2 years later I traded for my 2024 Maverick without ever having anymore issues.
The first thing I did was open the hood while it still sat on the showroom floor and look at the battery.
I smiled, a FoMoCo AGM was sitting there.

That service manager is forced to behave the way he did. Not his fault.

Congrats. Have had zero issues after I went with an AGM back in December.
I just replaced mine with an AGM battery, then went on a 1,500 mile trip. Every 50-100 miles, the truck threw a charging system problem and turned off all peripherals that were not needed. After about 15 miles each time the battery light would go off till next time. So annoying!!

Before anyone ask, it was done at the dealership, by their mechanics.

Did the dealership fully charge the new battery and was vehicle immediately parked and locked for the 8 hours "new battery learn" procedure?

Hopefully the dealership knows enough to do this?

Update! 6 months after new AGM. No problems!! None, nada!
Approaching one year with my AGM battery. Only 8 deep sleep messages and never a dead battery.

No it was not.
Fear not!
The EB's are already programmed that way since they were intended to come with AGMs - except that short production run that is now under a recall to replace to AGM's.

ETA: I guess it's possible you could be parking in garage unlocked since you brought it back.
So perhaps it would be a good idea to charge it up, then do the correct process locked overnight.

Besides - it's a user replaceable service item, so there wouldn't be a setting unavailable to reach by the user that was required.

Comment above is from Hybrid owner, probably didn't catch this thread is mainly about EB's.
