So, mostly hybrids. You have to admit the older hybrid orders deserved to be prioritized.
Totally agree, The Ecoboosts had a three month head start and the famous order and scheduling in the same week of January gave a lot of Eco owners smiling faces. I expect march to be a 60/40 hybrid month so maybe, perhaps, even my accident a few FE's and June orders trickle in.

Only dealer stock Ecoboosts had a head start and it was a month. Once custom order scheduling started in September it was both hybrids and Ecoboosts. Hybrids simply couldn't be delivered for 2.5 months.

Maybe I missing something but I don't hear much about chip shortages at GM or some of the other manufacturers??
You are definitely missing something my friend. Certain rav4s are 1-2 year expected wait time from what i read as one example

It's this the craziest system for getting customers their orders?! Our builds are the same, yet I ordered on July 5th, you on Sept 3rd. I'm scheduled for production the week of April 25, you for April 11th. Some strange times that's for sure! Glad you got scheduled!

Haha thanks! What dealer did you order through?
I ordered from Oshawa. It was my wife’s Escape Dealer, but we both live in Barrie, and I also worked at Honda MFG. for like 6 years. You might be the only Maverick in Alliston. I know Barrie has one, a blue one I think, that he bought in Toronto. Mine will be black hopefully 🤞.

Ah ok. I haven’t seen any locally (I’m in Orangeville. Just had a trusted contact in Allison) I’ve been seeing them around the gta as a travel around for work though. 3 this week

Really. I have not seen any here yet. Bayfield Ford has one you can test drive. I might just go take a spin in one. I saw one at Barrie Ford, but have yet to drive one.

I was scheduled last week Feb 24th when there was no scheduling so I did my post in a different thread. My build week is April 25th. I do a happy dance every time I look at the pile of parts I already have for my Maverick! 😆
Glad your order finally got scheduled!

Youve laid eyes on them at dealerships! Incredible. The ones ive seen have all been spoken for already. Some local dealers claim inventory in fords website but theyre either pre-sold or they just haven’t updated their inventory records so the trucks arent actually there. In my area at least

To be completely honest with the way gas prices are going - I'm more excited for my MavBrid than I would be the Bronco. Not sure if you've seen or driven a Bronco but ford did ABSOLUTELY nail it on the styling and the emotions it stirs. When I have been behind the wheel of one, it really is about the smiles per gallon.

But the Mav is just such a great package. My regret is not opting for the Lariat loaded up. I know that sounds weird to go from XL to fully loaded but I bought a 2022 CRV Hybrid to hold me over and its fully loaded - now I am going to struggle to go back. Where as my 2014 Subaru Forester had an interior on par with a 1999 toyota corolla.

I kind of went "cheap" on both the Mav and Bronco in hopes I could keep both and now I look at both and I think they're both compromised builds for what I want. Luckily the mods and aftermarket is alive and well for both but after driving the CRV for a month I would have rather just taken delivery of a Badlands Bronco or a Maverick Lariat and called it a day.

I will likely now just end up with my Maverick XL Lariat in the end!
I know what you mean about the Bronco! At least once a week I do a build because it's a great looking vehicle, but with the price and gas mileage keep me in check. I used to have 79 CJ5 then a 78 CJ7 and just loved going out off-roading! I see that Bronco and it makes want to get back into off-roading again, but I'll be happy with my Maverick because it fulfills my need for a truck that I can style and get crazy mpg. Maybe in a few years I'll look at a used Bronco if the itch is still there.

Most definitely! Still much time and ground to cover before it gets built and delivered. You still could end up getting yours before I do yet!

It just came out that my dealer has been the #1 dealer of PreOwned Certified Ford Sales for 2021 for ALL of North Carolina and South Carolina. And I can count the number of hybrids they received on less than half of the fingers on my hand. Maybe that had some influence. Who knows?
