Second no ill feelings to no one that has got a build date but it's really disappointing to see my same exact truck with the build date 4 to 6 weeks past my build date.

Third congratulations true all you ladies and gentlemen who got a build date and guess the way I'm looking at it there's always got to be a first and a last also a engine and a caboose.

Oh to be so close, yet so far!! What's the hold up?

Chips. The infuriating part is that the production line keeps rolling churning out Broncos week after week but for us unfortunate souls in a 3 week build group our Broncos were built to completion sans a few chips and then stored in a field about 5 miles from MAP.

A few trickle out each week. Likely leftover chips from the line.

Damn chips!! It's amazing how something so small can cause such a huge problem. Why can't we do "CHIP" drive like the scrap metal drives they did during WWII and round up all the unused electronics that have these particular chips in them and recycle them?! Oh if it was only that easy!!

To be completely honest with the way gas prices are going - I'm more excited for my MavBrid than I would be the Bronco. Not sure if you've seen or driven a Bronco but ford did ABSOLUTELY nail it on the styling and the emotions it stirs. When I have been behind the wheel of one, it really is about the smiles per gallon.

But the Mav is just such a great package. My regret is not opting for the Lariat loaded up. I know that sounds weird to go from XL to fully loaded but I bought a 2022 CRV Hybrid to hold me over and its fully loaded - now I am going to struggle to go back. Where as my 2014 Subaru Forester had an interior on par with a 1999 toyota corolla.

I kind of went "cheap" on both the Mav and Bronco in hopes I could keep both and now I look at both and I think they're both compromised builds for what I want. Luckily the mods and aftermarket is alive and well for both but after driving the CRV for a month I would have rather just taken delivery of a Badlands Bronco or a Maverick Lariat and called it a day.

I will likely now just end up with my Maverick XL Lariat in the end!

Few hours later: It appears to be working now, so you were right. The four digit "order code" is the "order number." That and the supplied VIN brought up tracking that correctly identified the vehicle, dealer, order date, confirmation date, etc. Hoped to get the window sticker, but that still says "has not been released yet."
