I was planning on getting the software update soon for the issue with hybrid braking at low speeds. The earlier TSB did not require a error code being thrown (as I understood it). It looks like this one does. So what happens if i have this issue but no error code? Am I missing something?

Understand, appreciate and accept your considered tone. Until it is experienced it is hard to understand. Once experienced it is impossible (apparently) to describe. Come up to the mountains and I'll show you. :-)

Giving it gas is the only way to stop the over revving (except for my "trick" above). When you experience it, you gladly give up some gas to get it to stop revving. Remember this occurs on significant mountainous downgrades - areas where losing your engine could be very, very bad.

I live in Asheville NC and going down mountain grades of 6+% the engine sounds like it is seriously over revving. Is that what you are experiencing? I've found I can replicate the scenario quite dependable on different descents. I believe the hill descent control is the source for the high...

Glad it worked. TTGX were the letters for the railroad car my truck was on and that was for CSX once it came across the river.

you'll get to the same point. Promise. LOL. My truck took an excursion route to the final rail point, included a layover in Nashville for anout a week.

Dial the phone number and wait for the voice prompt for the rail car...and then enter the numbers which stand for the letters of the car
