Was that said in this week’s stream? Last I heard him say that we need to submit a new ‘23 order and will have both ‘22 & ‘23 orders simultaneously until ‘22 scheduling is completed.
Yes. That’s how I interpreted this week’s video.

That's not how you put your message. 22s will not be autorolled. If you ordered at Long McArthur he is going to place new 2023 orders for those 22 orders but that's his. You have to place a new 2023 order on 8/2 and the 22 could still get scheduled after up to 8/18. If it does, the 23 order is canceled and you get no private offer.

Agreed. I’m in the same boat. Mid-September XLT hybrid with luxury and co pilot 360. I’ve seen many orders placed months after mine with the same build get scheduled. FIFO is a blatant lie
Ordered a hybrid XLT in the same time period (9/13) but dropped options, next week is supposed to be my build week, Ford rep says this time for real. Haven't seen many October hybrids built yet. Hopefully you get there.

I’d be happy with getting scheduled this coming week, but the last date I read said Ford would be scheduling through Aug 18.

How will everyone feel if you place your updated order for a 2023 on Aug 2 and them get scheduled for a 2022 still? 🙃
Carryover '22 orders to model year '23 do not have to be placed only on August 2nd. There is a window of roughly a month or so when those can be entered into the system and all such carryover orders should receive the same unique order date, regardless of what the calendar says on the date the '23 model year order is made.

As no '23s will be built until late October, this levels the playing field for those who may hold out to place a carryover order until after '22 scheduling ceases.

Would ordering a 2023 get a person a Maverick sooner than waiting for a 2022?
I certainly hope not, although we've seen plenty of strange outcomes in the scheduling process over the last year. Assuming the current constraint items are still constraints going into model year 2023, it seems possible that some highly-constrained 22s might be produced after non-constrained 23s.

Agreed, my point was more that some people might want to take advantage of trim changes, different paint colors, etc if they rollover. I'd switch to Eruption Green if they offer it in 23, but I'd rather get my 22 scheduled - "a bird in hand" and all that. I'm sure I'll find something to complain about either way 😆

I realize this might not be the perfect spot to ask, but -

When I order a 2023, will I have ANY insight or rough estimate into when I'll be able to take delivery?

Without a car right now (motorcycle as primary) and trying to plan some life stuff out. 3 months vs 9 months vs 18 months kinda has different implications so just any rough idea would be cool.

Did Ford clue you in when y'all ordered in 2022?

I ordered a FWD XL EB at the end of December and took delivery in April. So the wait on that was not bad.

Interestingply, I got an email from my dealer saying that my xlt hybrid (ordered in late oct) was scheduled to be built the week of 9/12, yet I haven’t received anything from ford. Still, sounds like good news.
Does anyone have any idea how many builds are actually built in a weeks time?

From their published numbers: They averaged 7558 per month which would be 378 per day if production is 5 days a week. 1889 per week.
