Is it still true that on the 2025 maverick there is no integrated garage door opener.
I could not find anything in the owner manual or on the internet.
How do you open and close your doors.
I long lost the original opener.
Thank you.

My auto-dimming rear view mirror (Gentex-Auto-Dim-Mirror) has buttons built in to open the garage door. My truck did not come with any opener built in.

You are correct, there is no integrated garage door opener. I use the door opener that came with my garage door opener. You should be able to buy a replacement door opener from the manufacturer of you garage door opener. Good luck.

That was one of my issues when I purchased my loaded Lariat. You advertised that a Maverick fits in a avarage garage, but doesn't have homelink visor like the Escape has.

It's a cheap truck.
Surprisingly, An auto dimming mirror or integrated garage door opener wasn't offer as a standalone option on any trim package.

Don't let that stand in the way. Like you, I require homelink - I'm not leaving a garage door opener on the visor forever. It's just a personal pet peeve thing for me.

There are two good mirror replacements that include Homelink. One is a Toyota part number that is a very nice looking frameless design and is battery powered, so there are no power wires to connect. It's a 5 minute install. About $150.

The other is the auto-dimming mirror used by OEMs Hyundai and Mazda among others that requires a power connection to be made at the headliner. Harder install, but you get the auto-dimming feature. About $60.

Both are well-documented on this forum.

The Toyota Wireless mirror is not self dimming and the battery is not replaceable. I'm going to have to go for the Hyundai or Mazda.

If you long lost the original opener you wouldn't be able to program your homelink anyhow.

Sounds like you're going to need to get out and use your keypad next to the door.

I was able to program the Homelink button on my wife's '24 Edge yesterday using the learn button on the opener, did not need the remote.
