I have the Ford accessory kit version (front and rear cameras) installed on my 2023 Ford Maverick and my wife's 2022 Ford Escape. They seem to work well although we haven't had any reason to use the recordings yet.

I have a Nexar Beam which has been okay. The app leaves a lot to be desired, though. Probably switching to Garmin at some point.

Where'd you get the kit? I'd like to hardwire it instead of the janky 'wires everywhere' setup.

I have the Garmin mini 2 right now. I was thinking of moving that to the rear window and adding the Garmin 57 to the front. Do you like your set up? I find the Garmin app just ok, not great.

Update, I upgraded my phone (Samsung S23 FE 5g) and the Garmin app works a lot better now.

I agree, the app ain't that great. Rather than count on downloads to the "vault", I've just put healthy SD cards in both, to capture the video if needed. Hopefully, I'll never need the videos for evidence,,,,,,

The 57 w/its alerts keeps my wife entertained.

I have a Rove R2 4K Pro, front and back. It's cerainly not a high end camera, but does work well and takes decent video, in my opinion.

Dealer installed? Hard wired? Which kit? Do they look like part of the vehicle vs plug in add ons?
