I'm in Wash D.C. Area, 2nd worse traffic. I mostly coast, I don't stop and go. I do it like the truckers do, one speed and let them pass. 50k and I gauge the axles on every acceleration. Not shaking yet. It's called mechanical sympathy and Maverick requires it.
Maybe they put the original...
I keep that updated on Carfax, My Garage. MTC doesn't really want to know when members perform a particular oil change. Post #4 was the thread closer here.

The recall applies to 1% of total Mavericks, so please, if you are unaffected then reply to this thread to confirm your status with everyone.
Sounds like the recall was issued last Wed. 5/27. If you're on it, you're on it and it will show up. Things have likely changed recently with AI assisting to find the VINs and publish the notifications. Perhaps there will be more of these justified, small scope recalls moving forward...
It's true the OEM CPC TX is a thin, light tire. There are pros and cons. They are easy on the suspension and axles and gets good mpg. You can get take-off's very cheap. It's said that the retail version has more tread and it's thrifty as well. Of course the con is they don't hold up to...
No foolin'. I was on the Capital Beltway on Tue night and got blown by at a 6 lane merge by a Raptor going at least 110 mph. Luckily, I was going 65 mph and not half of the Raptor's speed. Either that or it was a Ram Rebel. Not sure but it was gone in a flash. 55 is risky.
In other news...
Or maybe option E. Stop wasting your time on frivolous mods. That was the conclusion I came to. I clean and wax my XL and XLT wheelsets seasonally. That's enough work as it is.
Seems like a worthy mod for my parking location with plenty of tree debris. I do believe this will block most of it from coming in and collecting at the bottom behind the front tire and splash guard. I am currently clearing the area behind the insulation with the front doors fully open...
And I've need been to any auto mechanic or dealership where I wasn't pulling and clunking the damn car out of Park and into gear upon return. They never use the parking brake, let alone set it in N first. To a man, they fucking suck at their job.
He's on Reddit these days. r/FordMaverickTruck
When you go personal, you loose the debate. The decision goes to
Mavster Mechanic. Neutral for days it is...
Makes it a toy car with the sunroof and I can't even wear a ski helmet. I wanna be able to haul an elephant on my roof if I want, in a Nor Easter. Yes, I've replaced glass and motors too. If you want to cramp the cabin and take away headroom, go ahead and girl it up with a sunroof.
Nope, I want a solid roof vehicle. I've have both and I want the solid roof and extra headroom. Solid roof gives me a better platform for a roof rack. Solid roof doesn't shake in the wind, leak water, broken motor, broken glass etc. Solid roof for the long haul.
50 ways to break your Maverick. You got #1 out of the way (oversized tires) and now you're moving on the #2 (lift kit).
I get that So Cal has serious terrain, but you have a strange idea of "comfort" in terms of installing a leveling kit.
Tremor or FX4 and keep it stock. Or just keep...
Sounds like you're in 80's. I would not put up with it either. My Mom is 82 and drives a 2016 Lexus NX built in Japan since new. It's a beast of a car.
For us youngers, especially 40's and under, the juice is worth the squeeze. I'm getting a very good ROI here over the long haul. I've got...
Ford Points Maverick bed mat, yes. Removeable too. Expensive spray-in liner blocking all my treaded holes and drains, no.
There's a lot of shit I don't need that's "recommended". Probably twice my annual spend, in fact. Sheep always follow recommendations, I don't.
I plan on keeping my vehicle and I don't think a liner adds much market value. The dealer wants to install the bed liner, get your trade AND sell you a new one. I'm saying no to all 3 of those. If I change my mind and want to trade, I will be buying and selling on the used market and/or...
I'm always curious as to what folks are putting in the bed that necessitates a spray-in bed liner. Maybe the dealer was just looking to up-charge?
Clearly, we have a household use-case here and we're not hauling gravel. I do believe the ~$500 I saved on a liner 3 years ago has grown to about...
