This is what's working for me. '24 XLT Hybrid.

Goes away immediately when clicked if message is showing.
Indicator should still work for all seats.

Ford Maverick FINALLY, FORScan coding to disable the Seatbelt Information Screen! (CONFIRMED WORKING) Screenshot 2024-03-24 134245

I changed this so that it won't ding at me at startup.

I did this:
720-13-01 9100 0001 8000
720-13-02 0110 1000

and it worked to get rid of the seatbelt screen at key on. I took my belt off while driving and got the red light on the dash but no chime which I am happy with.

I wish I could get the TSR working though. I am in Europe and every great once in a while I will get a sign on the dash but it is a US style sign and it blinks and fades out so I have no idea what is going on there.

check the forscan for dummies thread and try doing the TSR changes but obviously for EURO signs and not US. Have you taken the Maverick on the AUTOBAHN? LOL!

I would say that's a really good thing. Some may disagree. I understood that the '22s had an option to turn the nag screen off but they removed that setting from '23+. Maybe you turned it off way back when.

It wouldn't be an issue if it just came on and when you buckled up it went away immediately but it doesn't, it hangs around much too long, becomes annoying. Yes, you can hit the OK button and make it go away but I shouldn't have too. Perhaps if you had kids you might like it but I don't and just find it annoying, I've been putting on my seat belts since 1975, I don't need a reminder, I don't even think about it, just habit.

The blinking is a speed warning that you’re over the limit. Go to settings in your cluster and uncheck speed warning and audible off as well it’ll just turn solid.
Interesting that when I coded mine I got the opposite, in USA and I got the European speed limit sign but I like it I’m form Europe so it reminds me of home lol.

I've done the TSR changes, at least I think I have the correct but the TSR doesn't work.

Been on the autobahn plenty but there is so much traffic and construction that most areas are speed restricted. Also found out that the Maverick hybrid will start reducing power after extended high speed driving (~150km/hr). With the cruise set it will start loosing speed on hills after a while and the "power" gauge won't go to 100% even if you floor it.

Someone else suggested it was a generator heat issue. Could be, I am not sure. I mostly stay in the 130-140km/hr range and it is fine.

@TheShark is 100% right. Check out @Toinky FORSCAN FOR DUMMIES thread. His Traffic Sign Recognition section helped me to get it working correctly!

Also, any idea why this coding below was working for some people and not for others? I really don't understand. I removed this from the original post because it wasn't working for everybody, but from my research, ALL Mavericks have the same factory coding for these 4 lines of coding. Do you think it's a checksum problem? Maybe the spreadsheet is inaccurate?

This is to keep the Minder (the dash light and chime) and not the Monitor (the seatbelt screen) based on this spreadsheet and my original coding in my Maverick.

720-13-01 9100 0001 8000
720-13-02 0110 1000
720-14-01 1000 0000 0000
720-14-02 0000 0000
Sorry I didn’t see this question. I’m leaning towards spreadsheet inaccuracy. I’ve also seen ford do an integrated build and change parts, the part number suffix bumps for an updated part perhaps this could be playing a role and FORScan software hasn’t caught up to the update yet. I’m not sure because every car off the assembly line the modules are written by puma scan and should all in theory be exactly the same depending on trim level and option list. I do see that a lot of 24 MY mavericks with FORScan the “easy way” still don’t work. Maybe once FORScan updates we can get more coding.
ESYS was notorious for doing updates and it was a PITA and you almost had to re find and re learn where everything was at.

Thanks so much for the fix for the seat belt nag! It works perfectly in my 23 EB. Great post!

I can't for the life of me think of one good reason for the nag to stay on when the truck knows what seats have people in them, and everyone seated has their seat belt on. It's just ridiculous overreach.
I don't mind the chime and light, since I think it's just a good idea to wear seat belts (not by law and just my choice), and I have grandkids in the rear seats that sometimes take them off.....

This is perfect and I confirm it works for a 2022 XL Hybrid.
This gives the popup but goes away when you buckle. And the dash light and chime are visible/audio when not buckled.
Thanks for this!

Follow up - The popup only appears when either the driver or co-pilot is unbuckled. It does not identify if anyone sitting in the backseat buckled/unbuckled when the pop is visible.
