Coding to Disable the Door and/or Key CHIME

Hey Everyone!

I have found and tested two more codings that work for My 2024 Ford Maverick XL AWD ECOBOOST. These two changes share the same line of coding. Thanks again to @ZOODAD for the coding information that he has compiled for THE SUPER DUTY SPREADSHEET .


DISABLE DOOR CHIMES
1. IPC AS BUILT
2. Go to 720-01-02
3. Replace the third digit with a "0" as shown here

DISABLE KEY-IN IGNITON CHIME
1. IPC AS BUILT
2. Go to 720-01-02
3. Replace the sixth digit with a "2" as shown here

I was able to disable the key-in ignition chime using the “Plain English” method to Forscan re-programing. Some may feel more comfortable making changes via this method.

I tried this too but I found that the easy mode key in chime setting did not actually disable the chime when I first start the car! This was just the case for My 2024 XL maverick. Maybe I made a mistake or forgot to write the code. I do that sometimes lol

This is great information, but does anyone know if Forscan will work with OSX yet? There are a lot of Macbooks out there.

This is great information, but does anyone know if Forscan will work with OSX yet? There are a lot of Macbooks out there.

I have a Macbook I use for everything and a really cheap windows laptop I use for Forscan, BUT I have ran windows on several different MacBooks using Bootcamp software that comes on the Mac OR use Parallel Desktop or another Virtual machine software to run both Windows OS and Mac OS at the same time. You need Windows OS to run Forscan. So basically find a way to run Windows 10 or 11 on your Mac. Hope this helps.
