It pretty obvious that that must be an optimal weight for your driving conditions and it's added inertia is aiding regeneration.

Interesting theory although I think it has more to do with rolling hills and temperature.
Could also be calibrations of the truck.
My brother has identical vehicle maybe I'll try a experiment when it warms up again

826 divided by 14.4 gallons to fill it 57.36
But I just like doing miles per tank full
So much easier

I assume by your odometer that your running the stock OEM tires. Which ones? Tires can make more difference than many people think.
