Modern engines don’t need warmed up before driving, just get in and go. I’ve 2 Mavericks a 22AWD and a 23 hybrid I’ve gotten 600 mile tanks out of both. I do live in flatlands but do a lot of wandering around in the Ozarks. I generally keep speed 65 or lower, use cruise control extensively even in town where possible, no Jack rabbit starts and coast up to stop signs especially in hybrid as that’s where in regenerates the juice for hybrid system. My AWD with 38k miles is averaging 33mpg. The hybrid with 13k miles I’m averaging 46 mpg.
Yeah I know a guy who still starts his and leaves it sit and run for like a half hour.... I'll leave it run for maybe a minute or two depending on the weather before I leave for work but I don't really get on it until it's warm

Maybe I should have explained the warm up part a little better. I don't sit in the truck waiting for the engine to warm up. I drive off immediately, but generally the ice fires up somewhere before the first stop sign (or pulling on to the main road from that stop sign) and runs for a minute or two. If it does this while sitting at a light the hole it digs is hard to get out of on a short drive especially with an up hill leg close to the end of the commute.

With the last few weeks of cool weather and a lot of local driving, I got the best mileage out of this tank. (And I used the entire tank!)

I really wanted to keep going with the gauge at 0 miles until empty but I had the wife and kids with me so I pulled over and filled up.

Done in a true mix of all kinds of driving, by my calculations 48.5mpg, 88 octane FYI.

So here we are, five miles from officially getting 600 miles per tank on the hybrid with a little left in the tank…. Anyone else approaching 600 miles per tank? ( yes I realize driving style and conditions vary, but hey…it’s still great mileage)

Running your tank to nearly empty is unwise for several reasons. Topping off your tank ditto.

Like priding yourself on how low you can get the oil reading on your dipstick or how long between oil changes.

Theoretically yes, but I love my fuel pump too much to burn it out trying.
Just so you know... there's built-in protection for that. You can't burn it out, no matter how much you try.

All good.

I refuse to run it to empty to protect the fuel pump, and yes I know there's really another approximately 2.6-2.8 gallons in the tank when the gauge shows empty. If I burned out the fuel pump, my brother would never let me live it down, as he'd likely be the one replacing it at the dealer. (Ford MasterTech for 20+ years). At 50% fuel, I'm 365 to empty, after driving 364 miles on the current tank.

Has anyone else noticed they the mileage continues to increase over the first couple years? - First summer I was ~49-50 mpg during the summer, last year was ~52-52.5, and this year the truck is showing ~55 (actually 55.2 as it sits in the parking lot). For the record, I stopped pressing the mode button 4 times for Eco a year ago, so that's using normal mode too. Apparently the hybrid system's ICE really needs 10k or so to fully break-in, with half or better (60%) of the miles being electric.
