  1. What's Your ONE Thing?

The reason I made this point was not so much that I think everyone needs these features but rather that you would think at the price these vehicles sale for they should just be there as an option to use them if desired. My Corolla Cross has a full safety suite standard even on its base model for...

  4. Backup camera fix Recall is out now

I don’t know about the hour and a half but I do know my dealership wants to do these recalls with their mobile service because their techs get a much faster connection for the update away from the shop.

Yes thank you for the clarification. šŸ‘
  9. Easiest way to remote start Truck (alternative to App)

No there are Lariat’s without remote start FOB. It was considered a somewhat constrained part I remember but I chose not to order it because I did t want to pay the extra cost when I knew I could use the app to start. This is true for the 23 base Lariat that I have anyway.
  10. Complete shut down while in storage

Mine went to sleep for the first time after one week just a short while ago. Seems the SOC might come in to play since I have had it go a week without driving several times before with no issue. Im still on the stock battery after 1.5 years of use.

  12. Just joined the club tonight 2023 Maverick Alto blue

I’m in AZ so I have no problem getting sunny days for my Alto Blue to really stand out. It’s a chameleon and changes color with light conditions. It will look black at night and deep metallic blue in the sun light. I have the BAP as well and feel it’s the best interior exterior color match of...
  13. Issues with Tariffs, both Mexico AND Canada [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS; MEMBERS ALREADY BANNED FOR IT]

Yes sir cheap borrowing and funds outright given to people out of thin air while there was low productivity which created a supply problem because of created demand that should not have been there. So yes there was a supply and demand problem. And I agree these latest tariff threats are more to...
  14. Issues with Tariffs, both Mexico AND Canada [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS; MEMBERS ALREADY BANNED FOR IT]

Ok Yes when I say apparently inflation wasn’t a big deal to some is because while they moaned and groaned about prices they were not about to get serious and identify the main culprit. It couldn’t be their team oh no it had to be the other team and so it goes. It couldn’t be government policy...
  15. Issues with Tariffs, both Mexico AND Canada [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS; MEMBERS ALREADY BANNED FOR IT]

I find it even more interesting that for the better part of four years there were all kinds of people who apparently didn’t care about inflation or tariffs for that matter but now all the sudden in just the last month it’s all they can talk about.
  16. Ford to launch Maverick EV (I hope this is true)

This is so true the Mav should have had an EV option from the beginning. PHEV ehh not so much. Just stick with a hybrid or EV alternative.
  17. Issues with Tariffs, both Mexico AND Canada [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS; MEMBERS ALREADY BANNED FOR IT]

Just a wild hunch and I could be wrong NOT but I think they will be far more effective this time around. YAHOO
  18. Issues with Tariffs, both Mexico AND Canada [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS; MEMBERS ALREADY BANNED FOR IT]

All true but our trade deficit with Canada has doubled in the past 4 years to 45 billion dollars. Thats not Canadas fault that’s our fault.
  19. Issues with Tariffs, both Mexico AND Canada [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS; MEMBERS ALREADY BANNED FOR IT]

Im not going to get into that here, let’s just suffice it to say this administration sees that change is needed on Canada and Mexico part. I happen to agree although I’m more surprised by the Canadian Tariff. My expectation is they are addressing trade imbalances. I’m not going to debate it...
