11/16/23 Scheduling Email Received Group [POSTPONED TO 11/30]

I honestly think Ford will not do two full months of scheduling today. So, this might be wave 1. However, next Thursday is Thanksgiving. So then again, maybe...

Highest VIN beforehand: 30,3XX

Highest VIN Reported: XXXXX

Please copy & paste the bullets below & provide the following info when you announce that you received your email:

• Time email was received (include time zone!)
• Your scheduled build week
• The last 5 digits of your VIN with the last two numbers X'd out (e.g.: 234XX)
• 🛻 All relevant build info (e.g., atlas blue hybrid lariat lux + all weather mats)
• Your region, if comfortable (e.g., southern California or even Los Angeles, CA)
• Your original order date (and whether or not you are a MY23 carryover)
• Dealer (e.g., Long McArthur Ford, Salina KS)

It just means there are no constraints on the order. Mine sat in a unscheduled clean status from Sept of 2022 until Oct 25th, 2023. It finally got bumped by Ford from a priority 19 to a priority 2 as it was a 23 rollover.

The lower the number the better. Mine did not get built until Ford bumped it to a priority 2. Most dealer orders start out at a 19.

Priority codes 3-19 are changed by your dealer. You'd have to reach out to them to see why or if it makes a difference. If they changed all their 10s to 9s, it won't make a difference as everyone is still in the same priority. If it was only you, they put you ahead of other orders 10 and greater within the dealership.

I was thinking the same thing.

My tech averse senior citizen father asked me to place an order for a hybrid for him since he thinks it makes more sense for his driving. The dealer notified me that his XL was scheduled for the last week of Jan 2024 however when I contacted Ford chat today they said it is still unscheduled. I haven't been able to get ahold of the salesman but it will be interesting to see what happens with emails today.
