What are the 2023 EB AWD with the Tow Package running in the quarter? Another 1,000 miles and I’ll be running mine, just for fun. Figure 6” above sea level and 85*f with 120% humidity, lol.

This was my best bone stock on the 23 AWD with 4k tow.

Ivan, I don't see it stated.. is this your 2.3L Corsair built Maverick?
The dyno numbers? No this is a friends with 2.0 and 50mm with E30 tune.

My 2.3 has the bigger 57mm, E44 tune, and hard pipes. I should be close or north of 400whp but fuel will be the limiting factor.

Really appreciate all the guys testing these trucks on the dyno with mods. Makes it easy to understand what we can realistically expect out of our own trucks. Also shoutout to the guys making draggy run and strip passes. Great numbers by the way, that’s impressive.

Does an intake and intercooler usually add 59 horsepower?

likely never. That’s why I mentioned they were 2 different trucks and different dynos. Ideally we’d have one truck and add the mods one by one but that likely not gonna happen.

what you can be sure of, a Liveronis tune on a stock vehicle will gain 20% power.

The other take away is that a Maverick with an intake, intercooler, turbo upgrade, downpipe and Liveronis tune is capable of 350 whp+

Right, but I"m still confused on your numbers here:

"
Livernois Motorsports Stock dyno

201 WHP & 273 WTQ

Livernois Motorsports Tune only

248 WHP & 322 WTQ

Ted Azmig S&B Intake, Livernois tune, Fast Mavericks Intercooler

307 WHP & 336 WTQ"

- What truck was used for what run? e.g.

Truck 1 Stock tune: - 2xx hp, 3xx tq
Truck 2 Stock tune: 2xx hp, 3xx tq

Truck 1 Livernois Tune - 2xx hp, 3xx tq
Truck 2 Livernois Tune - 2xx hp, 3xx tq

Etc, etc.

Pretty awesome! So thats what a 1970 Maverick 428 SCJ would have been like. Nice!
And 2 1/2 seconds slower in the 1/4 mile without all the amenities. I get it muscle car. My 300 hp 3000 lb Saturn has been putting the hurt on muscle car and imports for almost 2 decade.
This is exactly what I want to do with my Maverick. So what was all done? I figure you have an intake, exhaust, intercooler, upgraded turbo and a tune?
Alot. Over $1500 I would guess. I haven't looked up the prices. Still very nice gains and these truck drive characteristics are night and day I would imagine. Nice job guys.

My old 74 Maverick was under 2900 lbs(fiberglass and aluminum), I only ever got 1 1/4 mile time in it of 14 but that was with 3.00:1 open differential and 28.5 tall tires. A good gear and smaller tires and it would have been wild, but it's gone. It did have 1 feature our Tremor doesn't have. The ability to turn off every light source inside and out. Needed that a time or 2.

I don't know that we have that info. The original post just shows that there is definitely potential in the ecoboost platform and there are already some good vendors to start a build with.

I think ya'll are reading too much into this. Correct me if I am wrong, but this is the SAME truck just different dyno pulls with different mods added. Livernois was the PLACE that it was dyno'd.

They said " likely never. That’s why I mentioned they were 2 different trucks and different dynos. Ideally we’d have one truck and add the mods one by one but that likely not gonna happen. "

So they aren't the same truck, or somebody is confused.

Livernois Motorsports Tune only

248 WHP & 322 WTQ

Ted Azmig S&B Intake, Livernois tune, Fast Mavericks Intercooler

307 WHP & 336 WTQ"

And my assumption is these numbers are for the same truck, but that means somehow the truck gained over 59 hp and 14 tq by adding an intake and intercooler? Or, as the person said, these aren't the same truck. So I want to know what the 2nd truck dyno'd before adding the intake and intercooler.

The intercooler is going to make really good gains with a tune, because you are dropping roughly 60+° intake temps, which could be 4+ Degrees of timing that is no longer being pulled by the computer, so, yeah it would be possible to get those gains, but you are talking post tune on both setups, so tuned for the IC is going to take advantage of the colder intake temps to the best possible condition, since it was done on a controlled environment of the dyno. Off the shelf maps probably won't see as much.

So to really see the difference I need a before and after of the same truck, otherwise it's all just guesses to see what the real gains are.

Well yes and no. You 100% wil see awesome gains with a tune and an intercooler, these are tried and true turbo engine mods. The intake in questionable on the factory turbo, but still may provide gains due to the reduction in piping size pre turbo. I have never been a fan of dynoing after every mod, because it's an expensive proposition.

The only fact I can give you, is that you will see great gains with both a tune and intercooler. Period. How mich depends on so many factors, that it's not worth arguing about.
